No Bah Humbug With Kids, Got the Tree Up.

Well last Sunday we went to Lotus and bought a 7 foot tree, new ornaments and 700 lights. Well we got it up and plugged it in 600 lights came on and we did not short out the house.
Had to get a new one as the old one was 6 years old and broke in half last year. As it was late when we got it up after the floods I just used 4 chopsticks and green duct tape to put it back together.

Anyway this years tree, anybody else putting one up or have it up yet. Now all we need is some cooler weather.

Mine's going up after Monday when the kids go back to school. Not as elegant as yours AO, but it'll do for now.

We decided against a Crimbo Tree this year and instead chose to light up the neighbour hood with Christmas Cheer. The neighbour only knows one word of English, and it'ssafe to say Khun Ruay is not amused.

No matter how old you are, an empty Christmas wrapping paper tube is still a light saber.

Still waiting to hear "Fa-losty da Sa-nowman" being sung by chipmunks on helium being played 24/7 at 140dB in the local Tescos yet..

When I do, I will put up my Christmas tree c/w dodgy lights. Just for the lad.

We are getting "AllI want for Christmas" by Mariah Carey; recorded before she became a fat munter addicted to BMW's.
