    Anyway, fuck this shit.

Yesterday was fucking brilliant and if people want to choose to be miserable and find a reason to moan then that's entirely up to them. These events are very enjoyable and there's a lot more to come yet.

It's brilliant to watch, look at the little Guatemalan lad who got his country's first ever medal - a silver in the 20Km walk. He'll be written into Guatemalan history books and sporting legend.

He was in tears being interviewed. Pure joy.

The working man and the country as a whole never had it so good when Thatcher was in power, she transformed Britain from the third world bankrupt ghetto Labour had left the country in.

And broke the unions who were systematically destroying industry with their totally unrealistic demands as well.

Look at Unite and the BA dispute. Could have bankrupted the company and cost tens and thousands of jobs. Just because a few old fags wanted to sit in an office watching movies instead of pushing a fucking trolley.

I like most sports due to the unscripted drama. Movies and TV shows where the bad guy gets caught in the end are boring. That being said, I can't watch female gymnastics. Those midgets with no boobs freak me out.

    Seconded, Terry.

Those who say (whilst being too grandiose to turn on their television sets) that these are privileged upper class kids, are talking out of their rectum - as always for forum ignorami and general losers-in-life.

You can hear in their interviews that the medallists are just ordinary people in their teens and twenties.

    ^Well, so. Fucking. What.

Most of you cunts on here aren't the ones paying for it, how about you all send a cheque to the British Government expressing your appreciation if you enjoy it so much?

Otherwise, you're just a bunch of freeloading fuckers like the rest of the bandits on the Olympic gravy train. I pay for it so I'll fucking criticise it and the cunts who participate as much as I like. It's my party and I'll cry if I want to, it's my ball and I'm going home!

Don't think about paying for the joyous occasion that is the Olympics. Think of paying for fat blimps claiming benefits because of "depression" so they can sit at home all day watching Jeremy Kyle, and Afghanis and Pakis bringing 30 members of their family in and being front of the queue with their hands out for the rest of the shit you pay for like housing, NHS, education, etc.

It will make you feel better about the Olympics, trust me.

You two could do a double act reciting that crap you read daily from your Murdoch comics ,,, I would concentrate on the pics in that comic .

Have a look out your windows BB any of those chimneys still standing in Stoke used to be churning out smoke from the INDUSTRY you had there employing thousands of local folk before the Tory policy of closing our manufacturing base down in favour or the minimum wage burger flipping service industry @ £6.08p per hour .

You mean the loss making industries that were kept afloat for years longer than they should have been at great expense to the taxpayer thus bankrupting the country??? Amazing how the loony left never mention the facts. But even after Labour have totally bankrupt the country the last 2 times they have been in power, you just keep ticking the Labour box at the polls as i'm sure your father did before you and your kids will continue to do so.

Yet again you are misguided in your love for the loony left, it used to be if you had been married for over 4 years living overseas your wife could basically get indefinate leave to remain automatically before she entered the country, Labour changed that in 2007 i believe. It is Labour who introduced the pointless life in the UK test and started charging extorionate fees for visas etc.

Funny you mention that ,, both my parents were both working class to ,, my dad hated trade unions with a vengeance ,, he was happy to work for nothing all his life and indeed ended up with nothing. Infact to act out this crazy life they were both members of the local Tory club ,, adjusting their speech in there ,, as I said both ended up with nothing ,, so were very grateful to take council sheltered accommodation ,, certainly would not have got it from the boys in blue.

Ofcourse I never mentioned this when I visited them

Mine eschewed unions, worked all his life for the government as a scientist, not particularly senior but adequately paid, brought up six kids and we wanted for nothing, and is happily retired with his own house. What did you parents do with all their money? Piss it away?

Can't get away from constantly being reminded how crass and devoid of culture some Americans are even watching the Olympics. Case in point: Serena Williams doing that ghetto 'Crip Walk' following her winning the Gold in singles tennis. *Snort* - maybe she could have followed it up with a black power salute too, eh?

    Absolutely no-class trailer trash...a low-class skank.

No doubt a lot of Poms are doing it tough, but the majority are doing okay. Odd though that while the national sport of the indigenous Pom is whingeing, I don't see it on the Olympic agenda.

After working for peanuts all they're lives apart from giving us a one week a year caravan holiday and a xmas present that never exceeded £5 there was no money for drink and besides they wasnt drinkers anyway. They bought a 3 bed semi and sold it to fund a poxy sweet shop business later in life , some worthless leasehold .

Anyway enjoy your Tories policy of the race to the bottom I'm sure your grandkids will enjoy it , they are even looking at ways of doing away with the minimum wage now to make the UK more " competitive ??"

So exactly which box do I tick as a working class person at the next election ?

Why are you asking me? Don't you have candidates holding meetings or knocking on your door? Ask them what they are going to do about it.

Or stand for election yourself and see if your message resonates with Joe Public.

It is a great story, but you only have a certain number of places on an Olympic team, so Mr Pistorius (sp) is depriving an able bodied sth african of competing in the olympics. doesn't seem right to me. it'snot like the person who he beat in the trials can just go into the paralympics after all.
