    Rutland?

Proof that if you don't have a private army you will?

Rutland ceased to exist when a man took both his hands and never fought the good fight against the golden brown.

A fine example of the powers that are.

Rutland was bounded to the north by the Lincolns and Bostons tribe, to the west by every man and his dog who had sucked on the Norse penis (apart from a hardy tribe-more to follow), and to the south by french people.

So what happened to the hardy tribe and the french people uncle Ernie?

Well, the french people walked into London and made everyone tork like vis, and the rest of us still speak English.

    Sheepishly i opened this thread.
No recollection of posting this, but i do remember speaking last night, over the telephone, with a mate who lives in Lincolnshire. He tells me they have camels there and that they trade things instead of using cash.
That'll be the Danelaw i suppose.

    Damn.
    It gets worse.

An email from Lincolnshire informing me that my order for a "goatskin coated inflatable Dolly Lookalike" has been dispatched.
