With all due respect, but you have got to be kidding me right?

Wenger is without a doubt the sorest loser of the lot. He very rarely pays a complement to the opposing team even when his team has just been played off the park (the match against Barca is an exeption to the rule, believe me).
There's a reason why a lot of other PL managers don't like him, he doesn't respect or acknowledge the other team when Arsenal get beaten.

Fergie rants a lot but it's usually directed at officials, the FA etc. When Utd lose more often than not Fergie will complement the other team and that's why he's respected by the majority of the managers out there.

Btw, I thought his comment after the game was stupid, but going out of Europe after being 3-0 up I'll put it down to extreme dissappointment.

The thing is Fergie will have a glass or 14 with the Bayern manager no doubt about it. Where as Wenger, Benitez are extremly so far up there own arse they won't.
Looking at Wengers and Benitez's teams ive no doubt the majority of the time the manager will go in the dressing room and say. The offical wasnt on our side today lads or fouling germans thats why we lost etc. Fergie will defend his team as far as he can in the media and go in there and rattle them for not winning also.

Sincere question: why? He's also done quite well considering his lack of spending compared to the likes of ManU, Chelsea and Man City . . .

But what have they won? more importantly what do you see them winning. nothing.

You must be joking. He's the most ungracious manager in defeat in the history of the sport.

He's got a little bit better than he used to be as he's got older, but Man Utd fans seem to be so conditioned to seeing him in a positive light that they don't even realise what he's like.

But that isn't actually the only criteria, or even the most important one, in judging the performance of a manager and team, is it?

Professional club football, as it currently stands, is not even remotely close to being a level playing field. Consequently the vast majority of football clubs have a slim hope at best of winning a major trophy.

Arsenal are more advantaged than most, but still find themselves disadvantaged compared to the real financial powerhouses in the game. All achievements are relative, and while i'm no Arsenal fan, out of the teams at the top of the table their, and Wenger's, achievement looks the greatest so far.

Don't forget there still paying off that stadium of theres, But they have always said theres money in the kitty for Mr Wenger. Saying that hes spent a great deal of money on young talent. i think his managerial/coaching skills shouldnt be questioned but his own policy in the transfer market should.

I agree there in a better position financialy than Man Utd and Liverpool as im led to believe, But im under the impression that they sacrificed a few trophys for the sake of a stadium. But im sure they will reap the rewards from it once its paid off. (Maybe)

Roy's got it in the bag with or without the medal.

But if Fulham failed to have such a run in the cup, Harry would be there without a shadow.

'Arry done good, but he had loads of dosh to throw at it. Hodgeson's achievement, on a limited budget has been simply outstanding.

HaHa, I never knew what an Idiot.

Still think Roy should have got it, But then again there all toss pots who run the league anyway.

But take nothing away from Spurs great season for them, hopefully they'll be able to maintain it and keep liverpool where they are.

Taking nothing away from Hodgeson's run to the Europa Cup final, it's one thing to do well in a tournament, especially one that's spread out over months with plenty of time to prepare for an opponent. It's another thing to show enough consistency over a busy 38 game schedule (plus FA cup, League Cup) to crack the top 4 with a team that was in 18th place just 18 months before you were hired.

Any way good on both of them and here's hoping Roy brings home the goods next week!
