England putting up a better fight.
India need 82 from 35 balls with 7 wickets remaining.

What a knock from Suryakumar, but thankfully gone.
Good move leaving Jordan to suck the life out of India at the death, good win for England.
Australia collapsed on day four of the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka, capitulating by an innings and 39-runs.
Series now 1-1.
Good for the Sri Lankan people, gives the poor bastards something to be happy about at least. And Oz have been in decline for a while now, not beating the Poms 5-0 recently was clear evidence of this. Sure, the weather delays saved the whitewash, but they should have still been able to win easily in between rain delays against an English coached and captained team...
^Well I'd barely call the last Ashes series past glories, there'd still be damp tears on the handkerchiefs of Pommy cricket fans over that humiliation. Stull though, if it forced changes to the shower of shut you call your nation crucket team it was probably worth ut.
Thanks for the bite though, even tiddlers are fun to catch occasionally
At 1-1 it's a shame there isn't a decider.
Just 5 ODIs and 3 T20s to come.
Oh well, Cummins will be able to practice his reviewing.
It seems to be a bit too complicated for an Australian.
1st Eng Ind ODI, India won the toss and bowl. Starts on the hour.
Bairstow -7
Butler is having a nightmare as the new white ball Capt.
Ali - 14
53 for 6 in 14
At this rate India will only need to send on Bumrah to knock the total off in 2 to 3 overs
Buttler for lofty 30
59 for 7
we need a white ball reset
86 all out is Eng lowest ODI, come on the tail.....
Overton 8, pretty unplayable that one
68 for 8, 19 needed
Thank fuck I was out on the lash last night
Well England bounced back and won the second one by 100 runs.
The time was a bit unreasonable, I fell asleep, woke up briefly to see England in a strong position and dozed off again.
Thankfully the decider appears to be on Sunday at 5pm Thailand time.
And...
"English fast bowler Reece Topley, who was playing his 17th ODI match on Thursday (July 14), made history as he registered the best bowling figures by an English bowler in the 50-over format of the game. The 28-year-old dismissed six Indian batters for just 24 runs in 9.5 overs to enter his name into the record books."
