Playing for a draw already...
Some of the most boring cricket one could watch here: Live Cricket Streaming, Watch Ind Vs SA and Pak Vs Eng
Bell is on an exciting 9 off 51 balls.
When I say "the most boring cricket one could watch", I meant it quite literally as there only appears to be one person in the crowd; quite possibly the cleaner.
Cycling should be banned!!!
100 for Alastair Cook.....
..............and Wally told us he was finished......
Good body language too.
I'm confident wally will approve.
Listening to the commentary, seems like Cook has a fair chance of beating some Indian fella to the quickest 10,000 test runs, so presumably he has shown a bit of talent...
Scared of snakes and piss weak mentally.... will be lucky if he makes 1000 runs all up.....
a tad slow
Got draw written all over it.
(That should trigger a traditional England collapse).
Chai break,
England 55 behind with 5 wickets standing.
Cook on 237.
Now 40 or so ahead and Cook only made 260 odd before being given out to a no-ball...
This year has been the worst year for cricket I can remember. No test cricket leading up to the WC and a farce ashes series that produced 2 & 3 day one sided matches of which you guys won more ..... then the deshi tour gets cancelled - not that it would have been interesting anyway....
Apparently he 'almost' retired when the chips were really down - which is what I was hoping for.... only because I always knew he would eventually find his mojo and cause a threat to us. As I have stated before on this forum it is no coincidence that he regained his form after being sacked from the ODI team. He was getting out in test cricket shying at balls wide off the stumps the same as he was in ODIs - in the pursuit of quick runs. Once he started playing only test cricket and eliminated that shot from his repertoire he started making runs again ..
Cook bats for 846 minutes in abu dhabi !
Alastair Cook hits 263 against Pakistan to record longest ever England innings | Sport | The Guardian
Good to hear a belting refrain of Jerusalem ringing out over the Arab sands.
Wally, do you think that Cook will beat that Indian chaps quickest ever 10,000 test runs? &, if he does, is that because he is the greatest ever batsman?
We are 70 ahead. Can we bowl them out and win the match?
Pakistan v England - Cricket - BBC Sport

^ just saw that. Are the Pakistanis gonna perform a memorable collapse of English proportions?
