Because the third umpire didn't see it like I did - ya doofus harriet.
Simon Mann BBC Test Match Special commentator: "I don't think I've seen a plumber lbw that's not out!"Michael Vaughan: "Virat Kohli's having a real go at the umpire. You can't have this, I'm sorry. Kohli is such a powerhouse, you can't have him intimidating the umpire. It's a stinker of a decision but you can't be doing that as a captain. That's a bad look."
Welcome to the worlds most boring sport that nobody gives a flying fuck about! Unless you reside in the failed British Empire.
At a bit of a loose end, snub?
^^ England saved the follow-on by 5 runs remember. Hence my comment.
Can you hear that gentle thumping sound? That's the sound of dried out Sardar Patel wickets being pounded with mallets.
Mmm, India 3 spinners, Eng 1 on the basis this ain't a turner - 80-4 in the first session having won the toss. Could get messierer. Spun out bu day 3 or 4 if lucky. Looks like a Test 2 rinse and repeat.
Christ, we'll need need the nugget to bat a 12 for 250 balls at this rate.
Well, there's no substitute for local knowledge.
Nine English wickets lost to spin.
Remind me again, how many spinners have England chosen?
As Sunny pointed out, Broad and Anderson bowling too short.
Jimmy could still work some magic here.
^^ TBF Englands inability to play spin has been a thing since the c19th. There really isn't any excuse for collapsing against spin like this all the time, in India they've lost two matches now in their first innings and the bowlers must be wanting to give the batsmen a good slap. If they'd set up a turner in the first match there would be a series white wash.
Just showed a discussion of the bowlers landing zone and it is a dust bowl, its going to explode days 2 on.
