For a World final in any sport i don't think i can recall any better, closer or played with a better spirit - very unlucky NZ you didn't let yourselves down - thought it was another lost final down to the last ball after 8hrs 45mins what a great final and a great game.

I feel for them too and know how painful that snatching defeat from victory feeling is...but the best team won over 2 legs.

I was stuck on a bus in the middle of nowhere with regular updates from mates. One of them reckons it's the best game he's ever seen in any sport.

Just about to watch the highlights.

I crashed out at 1 for 100 expecting the Kiwis to pile on 300 plus.

I woke up in the morning and thought I was still dreaming.

I believe on the scoreboard 8 wickets is better then 10 wickets and the Kiwis were hard done by.

I believe for the good of the sport the best team over the last 12 months deserved the win.
