Ashes
I think it'll be close, of course when Eng don't even make it to the WC semis the team may be depleted with half the snowflakes in counselling.
I watched it up till Root got his Ton and then, even through the run rate was just over 9 an over,
they were scoring at that.
A little surprised that they (England) capitulated.
Lost by uncharacteristically poor fielding.
What a nightmare Roy had.
Afghanistan won the Toss and decided to field first @ a gloomy and cool Cardiff.
Sri Lanka Batting first.
No TV? ... this link works ... https://en.crictime.com/watch-live-c...treaming-1.htm
Experts are going Sri Lanka ... I'm backing Afghanistan
Starts soon.
Sri-Lanka started off well but they have just lost 5 wickets in no time ...92-0 to 149-6. Afghanistan could pull this one out of the hat...
Edit
Rain stops play with S-L 182-8. I hope this match manages some more entertainment before the end of the day.

Where will Roy be left fielding next game?
I hear Holland is free.
The Saafers in all kinds of trouble. both QDC & Amla out inside 10 - looks like this could the end of their WC
India are tough opponents these days.
Looked at the odds the other day.
Fuck they are shit.
If further proof were needed that there is massive educational deficit in the UK...
SA having to defend 228 is going to be tough.
NZ have taken a couple of early wickets against Bangladesh...look favourites to win that one
Bangladesh put a bit of pressure on the Black Caps taking some late wickets, but the boys ran down Bangladesh's 244 with seventeen deliveries left.
MOTM Ross Taylor with 84.
^ The Black Caps look good with a strong batting and bowling lineup.
Interesting to see who lines up against each other in the semis after the first round has finished.
Come on the West Indies!
Made it yesterday in the end but made a sub 5 RR chase look tough; Guptil & Munro trying to hit the ball out of the park when really they just needs to play 1,2 & 3s and build the pressure on the bowling side, instead both out of 50 odd runs - that wasn't smart cricket and hope they learn from that
If you were superstitious and Chinese, this would be considered unlucky.
Australia are 4-44 after 10
Lots of chin music
Smith and Stoinis attempting to steady the Ship.
Aussies did really well to get to 288. It may be enough to win, but could be close.
England lost the toss and batting first.
Off to a solid start.
0 / 43 off 7 overs, scoring @ 5.87 an over.

EDIT:- England, after 30 are 1/200 ... which makes them on track for a little over 400!
