^ don't encourage the 'soap dodger' comments, mate... Just have a shower once a week like the rest of us.
England won the toss and opted to field.
Sehwag went Broad's first ball, and Gambhir, who looked like he was settling in for a nice knock, just played on from a great Bresnan ball.
59/2
Tendulkar gone for 1 to a peach of a ball from Broad.
60/3
I don't think this will go five days either.
Here comes VVS Laxman for his 126th test match. Boundary first ball.
Broad is having a great series so far.
Bresnan gets in on the action too!
Bresnan bowls Dravid, 75/4, we are giving them a little respite by repairing to the pavilion for some cucumber sandwiches and Earl Grey.
It's going to take something special from India to get something from this game now.
Even with a few rain breaks England are capable of mopping up the open end they now have in quick time.
mick jagger is on star cricket tv now banging on about england taking the no.1 ranking. where were you the poms were useless micky boy??
Don't you remember when all your supporters turned up dressed as seats in the Ashes.
^australian supporters turn up to ashes matches 5-10 fold, compared to poms. fact
Mick loves his sport.
I went to a Stones concert at the old Wembley stadium maybe 20 years ago (or was it 25...), and he spent most of the night checking the World Cup scores...
Another good test this. India looked pretty good, but consistent high quality bowling all morning has got at 'em. Great bowling because the opener and the Wall looked in good nick...
This link is working perfectly (as usual now I've outed the M/S o/s): http://www.hitcric.info/2010/12/hitc...t-hitclic.html

I'll concede that fact.Originally Posted by Wally Dorian Raffles

And as for the Aussies, It was quite amazing to see Melbourne airport full of Ashes memorabilia and with the 1st day of the test on almost every available TV.
Flying out a week later as the Sydney test was about to start, the place looked like Tottenham looters had been through it.
Next one too, hooking to the man; well played, for the second time...
Rather akin to shooting fish in a pint glass, let alone a barrel.
Deep trouble for India!
What was Laxman thinking?
Errrm..maybe because it was in Australia...???ustralian supporters turn up to ashes matches 5-10 fold, compared to poms. fact
And he's supposed to be smart for an Aussie...
Could see England start their innings before stumps (before tea perhaps).
Kumar does not look like he will be lasting too long... looks petrified...
(too be fair, he has bowled well in the series)
Not as much swing for him today as there was at Lords and TB though.
I think he may get some tap as he's primarily a swing bowler.
yeah, yeah, yeah, i know. mick jagger is a big sport fan- and he really loves his cricket.
my point is, he usually just turns up to games in a hat and sunglasses, and the paparazzi are lucky to even get a shot of him. but now that england are on the verge of taking over the #1 ranking, he has joined the commentary box!!
another fairweather pom !!
