    2006 F1 season...

Here's an topic that has international appeal...

What say ye on the 2006 F1 season???

Will Schumi make a comeback -or- just languish away with his 50 million+ euro contract & endorsements???

Will Renault repeat, even though it's a fuggin' French team???

Will Mark Webber continue his off road excursions this season???

Will Jacque Villeneuve continue to be a disappointment for Sauber???

Will the new V8 engine package muck up the works for everyone???

    are you Paul Maud'dib?

Hopefully the F1 season will be much much closer and Ferrari will fuck it up again.

I would hazard a guess and say the rankings would be

    Renault
    McLaren
    Ferrari
    Honda
    Williams
    everyone else

Why the hell are they letting them change tires during the races again? It should be interesting as the V8's just might level out the playing field abit.

Watch out for Toyota. They are going big time into racing now, not only F1 but American stock cars will see a Camry next year.

Shumacher surely can't make a comeback after such a disaterous season last year? I heard he was looking at starting his own team in 2007

Who is his driving partner this year? Barachello's gone to BAR, right?

Thanks AO, I can see he'd be cheaper to maintain than Rubens, but a bit risky in my opinion.

Still, I don't care, I just hope we get a damn good racing season, it was nice to see Schumacher not dominate for a change, unfortunately it was out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Au contraire. Barichello had a chance of beating the EGO WELTMEISTER, Massa has no chance and will do what he is told ie come in behind Schumacher.

Surely that is exactly what the Ferrari team want?

    A Schumacer gimp.

Rubio bolted from Ferrari because he was tired of playing second fiddle to Schumi for all these years... Maybe a mistake, maybe not... He's likely to show young Button a thing or two this year at BAR...

I'm glad to see tire changes come back to F1... It's not realistic to think that you can squeeze 100% performance out of a F1 car on one set of tires per race... Plus qualifying... All in the name of saving money??? DOH!!!

Last year to Renault for Alonso... Stolen away by McClaren... That should be interesting in 2007...

Only 16 days till the season opener in Bahrain...

I love watching F1. Which is strange because I have zero interest in any thing else whatsoever to do with cars. I don't think I missed one GP last year. I even sat through the US from start to finish. I want Montoya to win - I think he's a great character. Schmacher is one of my sporting heros - true professional.....Every time I see him though I just can't help imagining him sticking out of the turret of a Panza as it flies across the Russian Steppes.

Have you read the prequels? They are ok but not the same quality as the originals I think.

Anyway, if it all pans out I AM GOING TO MELBOURNE!

What about the rumors that Kimi is already signed for Ferrari for 2007? Bahrain this weekend, should be great. So many changes. The first race is always fun.

I think that Honda could be the dark horse this season. Would like to see Button get his maiden victory.

GoW's got a Honda, so I'll be rooting for them this season.
