Alonso has extended with Aston Martin until 2026.

By then he'll be the first driver of that age since Graham Hill in 1975.

That is a shame. I would hoping Mercedes would pick him up.

True, but he is German. So is Vettel, but Max wouldn’t like it.

It would be very interesting to have two really good drivers at one team next season, you know, like Leclerc and Hamilton at Ferrari. Or Vettel and Verstappen at Red Bull.

Give him a break. His father was by far the greatest F1 driver to ever live. He had a lot to live up to.

    Don't be fucking silly.

Most wins, Most poles: Sir Lewis.

Would be most championships if the racists hadn't cheated him.

Added: Let's not forget one of Schumacher's was from driving Hill off the track, and he tried that trick again against Villeneuve.

So really he should only have had 6.

That means fuck all. F1 broke the template when it allowed more than 16 races a year.

JFC you are banging that drum? He was a shit driver harry. He lucked out with Mercedes.

If he can prove himself on the field of battle like Micheal in the Ferrari, I will eat my words. The child has no place at the table of real champions.

You witless fuck, the Ferrari was a good car. Even Barichello won races in it.

Stick to flipping burgers and fucking NASCAR, you're out of your depth.

Vettel was good. There's a reason why he retired.

Hamilton should only have had 6 you stupid fuck. If the FIA followed their written policies in 2008, the Singapore Grand prix wouldn't have counted for anyone. And then Massa is the champion.

Another one of those silly weekends with sprint races and qualifying all fucking mixed up.

Amazingly the chinkies managed to red flag twice through "burning grass".

Well Sir Lewis, in a vehicle most likely set up to do 20 laps before collapsing like a clown's car, managed to split the Red Bulls.

Another crashing bore so to speak.

And what happens when you have a car whose best setup is for a sprint race?

You come 18th in qualifying for the proper race.

ADRIAN NEWEY SET TO LEAVE RED BULL F1 TEAM

    https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/adrian-newey-set-to-leave-red-bull-f1-team/10603201

The British media is pumping this idea that he is going to Ferrari. So far there's no evidence of it.

Even if he went to Ferrari, Charles Leclerc is there. Newey cars are built for peaky drivers like Max and Leclerc. Leclerc in a Newey built car would completely embarrass a 40 year old hamilton over one lap. hamilton would be todays Sergio Perez.

I'd like to see Newey go to Aston Martin. It is down the road in the UK. He won't have to move. They have Saudi money backing them and can write a blank check.

    Wow, ambitious of them.

Nico Hulkenberg has been confirmed as Audi's first Formula 1 driver after Haas revealed he will leave at the end of the 2024 season.

Hulkenberg has signed a multi-year contract that will see him drive for Sauber in 2025, after which the team will be taken over by German manufacturer Audi for the 2026 season and beyond.

The signing of the 36-year-old German, who has impressed since returning to the grid with Haas in 2023 after three years without a permanent drive, confirms that either Valtteri Bottas or Zhou Guanyu will not drive for Sauber in 2025.

Hulk has one of the most decorated junior careers in the field dickhead. He won the F2 title in his rookie year and the German and Italian karting championship twice. He out qualified everyone including Max at least once last year.

Fuck are you out to lunch
