You could send a red, I don't really care either way.

Have to say that even in your most insane "periods" you never went the serial way.

    Kudos for that.....

But just because that you are above average, doesn't mean that you are equal to us.

Pepe Le Pew has extended his Ferrari contract until at least 2025.

Another attention seeking move. And Ferrari got swindled into feeding his narcissistic aims. Mr. Hamilton will most likely quit half way through 2025 if there is no magic. Because nothing will get the spotlight on him again like a mid season retirement. I am no longer a Ferrari fan.

    Go McLaren !

Whats the worst that could happen. The lad gets a big payday, and retires.

The best? He gets a big payday, and gets it right, just like he did last tieme.

His move is based on getting revenge for being cheated out of his 8th world title. He has seen and driven the new Merc. Ferrari have connived him their new car is better.

He wants to beat Verstappen and Leclerc. Wait and see eh.

I do think Toto has got to take a lot of the blame, not necessarily just for producing a shit car in 2022, but sticking with it into a second season when it was patently fucking obvious how shit it was.

The trust is clearly long gone.

And yes, Ferrari is probably just something he wants to try before he retires.

The question is how will the Tifosi take it?

And of course Pepe Le Pew won't be too happy either.

Do you mean his move is based on a desire to win an 8th title?

    Otherwise it makes no sense.

The person managing that race, (Masri) applied false regulations, allowing another driver to win the race. Masri was subsequently removed, but the race results stand.

Hamilton obeyed the rules issued at the time, even though they were incorrect. He wishes to correct that oversight.

I would agree he would love an eighth title, but I suspect moving is more a sign that he has lost faith that Toto can produce a race-winning car.

Of course, whether he's given due consideration to Ferrari's seeming inability to manage race strategies is something else.

Also, Pepe Le Pew isn't going to want to be second driver.

Either Hamilton knows something we don’t, or his choice fails. He has driven the new Merc race car, and witnessedthedeve, opments to ounter prior failures.

Something or someone has convinced him that Ferreri is the better option? LeClerc is a very good driver. I believe that Hamilton has no qualms about partnering LeClerc on an equal basis.
He did much the same with Russell.

Hamilton is running out of time. Money is not a problem for him.

Whatever happens, I hope Hamilton’s dress sense improves.

Was watching an interesting discussion about it last night.

The consensus seems to be a mix of "every driver wants to drive for Ferrari once in their career" and "He's heard good things about the 2026 car", which is of course going to be a major change.

Formula 1 bosses have announced changes to the format of sprint races for the 2024 season.

Free practice and sprint qualifying will be on Friday, with the sprint race as the first track action on Saturday, followed by qualifying for the main grand prix.

Saturday had previously been separated out as a sprint-focused day.

There will be six sprint races this year - in China, Miami, Austria, the US Grand Prix in Austin, Brazil and Qatar.

So whinger spice spent eight hours in front of the RB beaks yesterday, suggesting this may not be something he can just shrug off.

And in other good news, Silverstone has signed up for another 10 years.
