The youngsters are great cyclists, and the coverage is good, also lots (a few?) of old timers (33+) winning stages. Rest day today, so I'll get to sleep before 2am (Korea is 2 hours ahead of Toyland), then the last few days of close cycling - could the final day end up being a race day instead of a parade?
Nice to see Canadian Mike Woods win a stage last week at 36 years old. Yesterday's stage was won by a rider doing his 10th Tour. He paid his dues and deserved the win.

On a related note, one of Greg Lemond's sprinters still lives in Mae Taeng. When we built our place up there I kept hearing about a guy that bikes a lot and got to to know him pretty well. Rode with him a few times and his ability to climb steep concrete roads you find up there was staggering.

He certainly did. I expected a closer time between the two leaders but things changed today.

Looks like the Dane has this sown up, he's riding very well.
(although, I suspect he abuses goats and sheep - probably from Jutland...)

Not sure how Pogacar's team allowed him to fall yesterday, as they should have been protecting him. I was hoping he would make this a tight race to the end. All the tough climbs are done at this point.

^ I've spend lots of time in Copenhagen, and enjoyed it loads. I like the Danes a lot (not all of them... ).

Spent a couple of years with a lovely Danish lady, back in the good old days. I never learnt the language well though...

The Danes are excelling in this tour, good on them.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

That's the third time (at least) that he has been out of order, imho. One of his stage wins, when he beat Cavendish, he should have been kicked back 5 places, imho for forcing that fella to break hard rather than be pushed into the boards with a massive veer from Mr Green. - But, it stopped Cavendish from getting the record, so the French officials looked the other way...

    English paranoia as always.

Cavendish is a nice and hugely talented guy and fortunately not an english whiner.

Still he is not comparable to Merckx.

You just can't compare athletes over different periods.

Personally, I don't like Cavendish much, but that nasty bullying Danish sprinter needs a good spanking...

All Danes are ugly - that goes without saying.

The green shirt fella is a bully (although to be fair, that's part of being a top cycling sprinter).

Emirates will just have to attack today, it won't work, the Tour has gone from them, but should be good watching.
