Yes. I'm not a Maguire fan myself but I'll give the bloke a chance to settle in. After that pre-season friendly with Bayer Leverkusen which they lost 4-0 the Hammers clearly need some kind of defence.

He'll be fine. He's a good player in above his head at the moment.

Put him in a side that plays to his strengths and he'll do well. It's a good move for all parties.

Agreed. If they sell Paqueta to Lance Armstrong FC, it weakens them further.

But they are supposedly getting Ward-Prowse, and have signed Alvarez although a cloggy told me last night he spent most of last season on the bench.
