You can't play with the physicality and size of SA and not be the wrong side of the new tackle laws several times a game, imho - it's then down to the ref, the tmo and how they want to interpret the game. The inconsistencies will likely have Scottish fans frustrated.

Fiji were competitive, so will likely be a really tough game for Australia?
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Don’t worry Drunky McDrunk that’s something called banter. A bit hard to interpret through an alcoholic haze.

Banter, just how dull must a night out be with you and the kraut (klaus barbies grandson), when you're not sharking for blokes arses .

Rugby and cricket are mostly played in private schools although rugby league has a following oop norf.

I'm an oik so went to a normal school and we had 5 weeks of both throughout the year. Football was obviously the main sport and the one that most of us looked forward to.

I hated rugby even more than cucumbers, but the fat kids enjoyed jumping on my head.

I think those fat kids ended up as engineers and bankers in Hong Kong and Singapore. I met some. At least there seemed to be quite a few ex-rugby players making a handsome wedge out on the crumbling edge of a faded empire.

^ before the professional game, the City (banking, London) employed/funded quite a lot of the English players. Schools like Haleybury was the East India Company school; Eaton and others were similarly connected. These schools fed into both the rugby system and the empire/banking system. So, for an example, if you went to Haleybury then it was relatively easy to get into the U16, etc county and England set ups then move into a job in the City where you'd get time off to train and play rugby. If it didn't work out then, as you said, maybe you'd head off to HK or Singapore into the banking sector.

I played Rugby and cricket both at public school and grammar school. As rugby captain at both schools, you wouldn't get in the rugby team if you were fat, not unless you were good.

We had Big Dougie in our rugby team and that’s all that mattered.

A two game ban for Curry seems fair. I hope there's more consistency and such tackles in future receive acyellow for unintentional head to head contact unless it's malicious (or a Bokke player).

    Round two

    hnz pix

    France v Uruguay - France
All Blacks v Nambia - ABs
    Samoa v Chile - Samoa
    Wales v Portugal - Wales
    Ireland v Tonga - Ireland
South Africa v Romania - South Africa
    Australia v Fiji - Australia
    England v Japan - England

Best hope for upset may be Fiji tipping over Aussie and Japan surprising England.
    pues, estamos aqui

If it was deemed intentional, yes. Otherwise, load of bollocks.

I go with load of bollocks.

^ Head on head is a ban. The player making contact has an obligation to protect the opponent. That's the current rules...

All Blacks playing in an hour. Not the most ideal of times to watch for anyone in Australasia. Hard to see them winning by less than 50 points, even if they play their B team.
