Apparently all UK airports are like that atm and it's not even the Summer holidays yet!
Trouble is they can't get the staff, not surprisingly as they are only willing to pay minimum wage which doesn't cover the cost of living.

temporary pain, this and other bumps is the price of sucking on the EU cheap labour teat
^ the remainers are all pointing at this as a disaster, a terrible mistake and they and labour would have no problem with Brits labouring for peanuts as the general wages are driven down since the 2000's but for me i am happy for temporary pain and a brighter future with higher wages that mean families and individuals can support themselves. Fuk the EU and the CBI and Business in general who have bought into making people slaves to Govt handouts.
The head of the CBI backed Brexit and was then forced to resign.

Richarlison: Tottenham's new signing to miss first Premier League match after flare incident
Tottenham Hotspur's summer signing Richarlison will miss the first Premier League game of the season after receiving a one-match ban due to a flare incident in May.
The 25-year-old forward threw a flare during former club Everton's crucial 1-0 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.
As well as the ban, Richarlison has been fined £25,000 by an independent regulatory commission.
The Brazilian admitted his behaviour was improper.
It was a breach of Rule E3, which covers improper conduct. Pyrotechnics are banned from football stadiums in England.
Richarlison threw the flare as a celebration for scoring the winner over Thomas Tuchel's side, which aided the club in staying in the top flight.
Frank Lampard's team came close to relegation last season, staying up in part because of Richarlison's 10 goals and five assists in what proved to be his final campaign at Goodison.
It was announced earlier in July the forward has signed for Tottenham on a five-year deal.

Chelsea boss Tuchel 'plots surprise De Ligt transfer alternative' | Football | Sport | Express.co.uk
Tuchel could raid German giants Bayern for 26-year-old defender Pavard this summer, according to The Mirror.
The Bundesliga champions may have to sell in order to bring in their intended targets. In fact, one of Bayern's main targets is De Ligt, as the German side appear to have scuppered Chelsea's intended raid for the Juventus star.
But when one door closes, another opens, and Pavard could be forced out in order to facilitate Bayern's move for the Dutchman. Tuchel could see Pavard as a potential major asset across his back-line, as the Frenchman can play in a number of positions, and has done so for club and country.
