A suitable and not over-the-top punishment and one they perhaps might have not got if the stewards weren't sick and fed up of Horner and the rest of his team pestering them and trying to bend the rules at every opportunity.
Delighted for Ricciardo, Norris and McLaren team.
The removal of the two drivers everyone wanted to see racing, was unfortunate.
Incidents during a race are governed by regulations, no matter what Horner and Backspin might think.
Hamilton: I will not be using the halo on my car - GRAND PRIX 247
2016 Hamilton- “worst modification in Formula One history”, Hamilton went one step further by saying he would even contest using it.
I though Daniel would make Lando drink from his sweaty footwear, but Zak couldn't get in there quick enough.
Not surprised Bottas discreetly stayed out of the way though.
This is precisely why they raised hell on the Silverstone incident. So they wouldn't be accused of this !
Horner just knows that they lost the race with the fucked pit stop. Why was the pit stop fucked ? Because Mercedes cried about Red Bull being too fast so the FIA changed the rules to slow down RB's pit stops.
The inside car was sneaking out of the pits on cold tires. And pulled up beside a car at race pace. And the car at race pace gets a penalty ? Weird. Watch the gif a times. Its clear that both cars could have made it around if the black car acknowledged the existence of the other car. They both made it around the first corner no problem
This is far more black and white than I originally thought. Sneaky Hamilton got away with one.
This video clip shows lando Norris doing the exact same pass on the same corner.

I am not a medic. The last time I found a driver in the ditch I still stopped to ask if he was okay. (He was.)
Max is a very quick driver in perhaps the fastest car. The problem is that he doesn't just want to win the title, he also wants to stick it to Lewis on the way. That leads him to make misjudgments and two DNFs when he could have won both races by being smarter. It was not necessary for him to have hit Lewis, he had other options. That is in stark contrast to Silverstone, where Lewis had nowhere to go once Max turned in. Anyway, the stewards have spoken on both incidents. We get over them and move on.
Looks like skiddy is busy forming some more opinions on the Google today.
HAHAHAHA it appears you've already had your quota of greens from me, so you'll have to wait.
