Hall any of our 4 strikers wouldn't give a past glories team a second look.

They both matter; I grew up playing in the 3 different European trophies that we've won and I was there when United won each one (from back in the days of the ECWC in Rotterdam in 91). Nu fans (Hi Chitty) won't understand this.
What I will say again is Mason Greenwood. Scored two again last night coming off the flanks and with a gait and ability that reminds me of a young Van Persie.
This lad's the real deal. Mark my words.
I see you're on roughly your 15th cycle of ...over confident...bereft of hope...over confident...over the last five years or so, hal.
The only European Cup worth winning as been renamed since Arsenal won it.

A good night for the Brits in Europe.
I wonder if they'll be playing in it next season?
That's what being a football fan's about, isn't it?
I've said repeatedly since the start of the season that I like the direction the team's heading in, which is pretty obvious to anyone who's watched the games over the last 7 or 8 days. Loads of young lads coming through, plenty of pace in the team and Ole the legend at the wheel. Lovely.
I've also repeatedly said there'll be plenty of dark days ahead with such a callow squad and that more depth and experience is required.
That said, give me our situation any day of the week ahead of the likes of Arsenal and Spurs with their squads packed with shit and/or players who have downed tools (where we were at the end of last season). Is there anything coming through either of those academies of note? Maybe Parrott at Spurs? I'm not hearing much.
Btw, I see that Luigi's posted on the other thread that this weekend will see us with an academy player in our squad for the 4000th consecutive game. That's what it's all about, lads. Manchester United.
The kids are alright.
Vardy gonna come out of national team hibernation and play in the Euros?
Vardy, with Rashford and, err, an in-form Sterling as the front 3 might get them through the group stage.
^ I think Captain Kane might have something to say about that
Not by the time he's been well and truly Jose'd.
Some tough English ties apart from Spurs
It's a miracle. Manchester Dhabi didn't get the piss easiest draw of the lot for a change.
Maybe the bribes aren't an option now they are under the microscope.
And the Yerpa league draw:
Wolves vs Espanyol
Sporting vs Istanbul Basaksehir
Getafe vs Ajax
Leverkusen vs Porto
Copenhagen vs Celtic
APOEL vs Basel
Cluj vs Sevilla
Olympiacos vs Arsenal
AZ Alkmaar vs Lask
Club Brugge vs Manchester United
Ludogorets vs Inter Milan
Frankfurt vs Salzburg
Shakhtar vs Benfica
Wolfsburg vs Malmo
Roma vs Gent
Rangers vs Braga
So a decade after Chelski got their billions, they're foked in the league, foked in the CL, and going nowhere fast.
A bit like Man City.
Unlike United.
Because they're not in the CL.
That's two teams in the CL badly missing Hazard.
RM very flat, and Modric showing his age.
They should have started with Bale imo.
Aubameyang- Hero to villain in 5 minutes. What a miss
The other 15 left. Wolves look the toughest team.
Was great seeing Tommy back, the drive of him and Bruno through the middle is something that was definitely lacking of late.
Just imagine Sancho and Rashford coming in from out wide and a top quality striker up front.
Quite. Look what our front 3 did to City at the Emptyhad earlier on the season with McTominay in the team; we could have been 5 up at HT. Now imagine that with Fernandes in there and a proper CF sticking 'em in?
Fred's done really well too since he's been asked to step up to the plate, and I'm now hoping that the days of suffering Lingard and fucking Pereira are a thing of the past.
Even Scholesy and Hargreaves were unusually positive on the telly now that we seem to have a proper creative player in the team.
