The only goal they got was another dodgy penalty

Only the second goal Sevilla have conceded in nine games.

Utd’s defence was never going to match up.

They could have conceded four or five. Not sure what hal was watching.

Both ends hit home what's needed.

An out and out striker to play in front of Bruno/Martial/Rashford/Greenwood/Sancho.

And a dominating attack the ball CB to replace Lindatwat.

So after all that sound and fury, Manchester has...the Rumbelows Milk Cup.

We were clearly the better team and squandered chance after chance- as was stated by every pundit in the BT studio!

Let down by poor finishing and a sloppy piece of defending for the 2nd goal.

Yep. Martial"s improved massively this season, Rashford was excellent up until his injury and Greenwood's gonna be class, but if we'd had an out and out striker, the game would have been put to bed in that 10 or 15 minutes after HT when we battered them. I can only imagine what Fernandes was saying to Lindelof after the goal too!

Pretty easily summed up by Rio:

Bailly and Lindatwat both cost around 30 mill each (probably 50 mill+ at today's rates), if only that was better spent. Bailly has raw talent, but never developed out of making horrendous schoolboy errors, Lindatwat thinks the ball has Covid so is afraid to touch it. Was it one year ago that he actually ducked down under a long ball 40 yards out, only for the inevitable to happen.

Is Jaap Stam still playing and available?

What was he thinking for the goal? The cross was only gonna go into one area and he didn't see it coming?!?!?!?

At the other end of the field, we've had 46 shots in 2 games (many of them one on one with the keeper)...and scored 2 penalties. That's clearly just not good enough.

Ighalo should have been brought on much earlier last night.

And bring back Van Nistelrooy too.

Now those are two of the types of signings they need to make.

Still, every cloud and all that: a week or so extra to rest ahead of the new season and a Champions League campaign!

As long as you can wait until 2024 you'll be fine.

I hear Laca is on sale, he's good if you can afford him.

The Qatari mob put RBL to the sword and face Bayern Munich on the final on the 23rd.

Needless to say I will be rooting for Jerry.

Looking forward to you telling us the results anyway, harry.

Wish there was some other way of finding out.

What happened in the cricket btw?

And you're actually 'piss piss moan moaning' about it, if you try and think about it from another perspective.

I realise of course that can't possibly be something you do when you're calling me 'boring', just after sharing the scintillating news that you cycled five miles and had fried rice for lunch.

Or is it the smiley that makes the difference?

Finally, you almost certainly know this but Universities here don't deal with 'little abdul' and his 'I'm a little teapot' rendition, and I haven't taught kids for over fifteen years.

Oh, and btw...your inevitable reply about 'paragraphs' and how they supposedly prove your point has hit home will be quite dull and predictable.

I note that for some reason you didn't go with "I'm a little teapot...short and stout."
