Don't do a spamdreth and flood the thread with youtube highlights and I might join the conversation. Most hockey fans have already seen the highlights or know who won or lost. Conversation is good though.

I'm a Canucks fan, and will start to have faith if they make it through the first round. They've barely played .500 hockey for the last 2 months and their power play is weak, and they've now lost their goalie Demko for the rest of the round. Still hopeful though but playoff hockey is a different game, and power plays and goalies win cups.

^I definitely hear you picks and agree with you to an extent but this is playoff time and when we did it last year we got a good response inbetween the highlight links. Definitely feel free to make comment and indeed I commend it.

Both sides of my Scot family have always had many relatives wander off to Canada as many Scots did! My grandfather though, lived in Toronto for many decades and was a big Leafs fan. Hence why, much to the detriment of my mental health, I support the Leafs.

I also played hockey from about 6-13 at Streatham ice rink in London.

Leafs just didn't show in the first game and got manhandled. They showed something in game 2 and Matthews is up and running thank God. McMann and Nylander (epic fucking name) still out but hopefully they will be back for game 3

Power play is a massive bonus in the playoffs and is something the Leafs have been working on.....apparently!

It's nice, but I prefer the black, gold, and red flying skate jerseys that they wear for some of the games. Carolina (formerly the Whalers) also bring out the old Hartford jerseys for some games as well.

I've always been a Leafs hater, even though I was born in the same small town as Wendel Clark and played hockey against him as a kid. Canucks fans have to hate the Leafs out of spite because so many Leafs fans are at the games here when they come.

You should hope that the Leafs don't collapse against Boston like they did in 2013 in the final minutes of game 7 in probably the biggest choke ever. I hate Boston too, so probably won't watch that series much.

Yea I saw that last season I think or maybe the one before, always loved those jerseys and a shame that franchise died.

Game 3, not so much of a collapse but again, had multiple opportunities and couldn't put it in the net. If we can tie it and head back to Boston we still have a chance.
