He may be on the pitch.
Describe 'playing'.
Not going tonight so will be watching it on the box.
Fernandes likely out (first time he's ever missed a game through injury).
Martinez out for the season and Varane not due back any time soon. Casemiro still finding his feet again after his time in the naughty corner while Eriksen doing the same. Hopefully, the great Ten Hag will play Fred with them for a bit of solidity (we were much better when he came on on Sunday).
We really need a clear week to recover, but that's not happening any time soon so, again, as shit as Spurs are I'd probably take a point, given the cushion we have for 4th place. Preferably three though reds, eh?
COME ON UNITED!
On current form, i reckon Spurs will hammer you
You just don't get past this chap.
After watching Aaron Wan-Bissaka pocket Kaoru Mitoma in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Brighton, Leicester’s James Maddison took to Twitter. “AWB is ridiculously good at 1 v 1 defending,” he wrote. “Probably the best in the world bar none. So many wingers run out of ideas when playing directly against him.”
Mitoma has been a breakout star this season, propelling Brighton towards European qualification. It is fair to say he is currently one of the most exciting wingers in world football, and even wrote a university thesis on dribbling, using cameras to analyse his teammates and how one might gain an advantage.
But at Wembley the Japanese lost all six duels with Wan-Bissaka and lost possession 17 times before being substituted. When asked about the United right-back after the game, Mitoma said: “He is a strong opponent, that is what I thought while playing. I think it was a complete defeat.”
Wan-Bissaka being described as a standout one-on-one defender is nothing new. But the numbers are startling. Of the 2,168 players to have attempted 100+ tackles in Europe’s top five divisions since the start of the 2017-18 season, no one has a better tackle success rate than the 25-year-old. He has stolen the ball 449 times in 571 attempts, an astonishing rate of 78.6%. No other full-back in Europe comes close.

Unfortunately, the ball is often a hot potato when he gets it, but one on one, he's ridiculously good.
I'm tempting fate here tonight, aren't I?

Is slabhead playing for Spurs tonight?
12 v 10
Yeah, why don't you screenshot it and post it up here without actually placing the bet yet afurkingain, you daft prat.
Get too fvvk you bellend.
12-1 for Slabhead to score anytime or assist at 12-1 is a pretty decent bet on his current form
How did your first team get on last night Ciz?
Some damn fine goals and misses.
Sancho's like having a new signing nowadays.
A big, busy exciting summer awaits.
A 2nd half disasterclass once again.
Now where have we seen that recently?
I get that we're tired but to go from sooooooo good to sooooooo bad in 15 minutes boils me fucking piss!
Still, a point was what I would have settled for beforehand- not when you're 2 up and looking at a cricket score, mind - and we really shouldn't throw 4th place away from here.
What ghastly rotgut are you on at the moment?
It seems that the current batch has caused you to not only post your usual nonsense on these threads, but also to forget what you and others have posted hours/days previously.
I suggest a nice cup of tea this weekend with a couple of spoonfuls of restraint.
It's matchday and I'm up early and ready to hit the gym and sauna before the pilgrimage to OT. A big win for Brighton yesterday, so we must win today or else the pressure is well and truly on ahead of our visit to the south coast on Thursday and the not so 'appy 'ammers the following Sunday.
Villa have won 2 of the last 3 in the league - including one at OT last season - and beat us at Villa Park this year, so a league double is on for them.
Still no Varane, Martinez, Garnacho or McTominay. Garnacho back in light training though, so fingers crossed he'll be back soon.
Let's just get over the line for 4th place!
UNITED! UNITED! UNITED!
You got your Norwich City scarf out ready for the protests?
Casemiro turning into Pirlo.
In other news Haaland has scored his 50th goal of the season, let thst sink in
Fvvking hell Hal will be pissed as a fart tonight giving it billy big bollocks.
Top four finish and champions league football should bring the Rags out from under their rocks en masses.
Shalom
Lindelof's off the line clearance was beautiful...but now Ten Hag has brought Slab head on for the last 5 minutes.
I bet Hal's hiding in the bogs
