    Obviously a tough one tomorrow.

We haven't had a great record down there of late (Arsenal have won 5 out of the last 7), but I fancied us before we lost Casemiro on Tuesday. I think the rest of the team felt the same too the way that last 10 went.

Still, we beat them without him earlier in the season and we have improved since then, but I'd happily take a point now.

I imagine we'll set up with a similar system to last week with McTominay coming in for Casemiro and Antony, who's too peripheral in these games, on the bench.

The title race is between you and them. Beyond tomorrow, Arsenal need to make sure they don't do an Arsenal and collapse.

    Please fucking don't, eh?

i see what you did there, you still secretly harbour a notion that Merch will sneak up whilst we're not looking

Not this season. We should be ok for top 4, but my only concern is getting stretched in the cup competitions we are still in, picking up a few injuries and ending up with nada and outside the CL places.

Top 4 and a trophy - any trophy - is the aim though.

Guardiola's "rant" the other night was very deliberate and designed to rouse the troops.

I wouldn't like to play them anytime soon.

I said it before: It doesn't matter how shit united are or how good Arsenal are, they are a fucking bogey team.

I hope to fuck Arteta has a plan to combat the Sheffield Wednesday boots over the top for Rashford to run onto.

It's not that we are a bogey team per se; we are just usually better than you.

And the easy 3 points come at Old Trafford, less so at the Library.

I'll settle for a bore draw after Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle dropping points today.

Naturally the Champions will bang a few past Wolves tomorrow.

Let's take a moment and spare a thought for Uniteds travelling support after being beat in Fergie time they have to make it back across the water to Sarf London and dig out their Norwich City scarfs.

It was a cracker yesterday and a fair assessment of where the two teams are at the moment. Arsenal should be champions and United should be top 4.

With Liverpool in decline and City still adjusting to playing with Haaland - but still an excellent team - I think you can pretty much pick a winner next season from the current CL placed teams at the moment.

Word on the street is that Kane is set for United if we qualify for the CL and the sale of the club goes through as expected. I also suspect Conte's time at Spuds is coming to an end.

Arsenal 5 points clear of the plastic with a game in hand. Please don't fuck it up, you cockney wankers.

It's ludicrous to predict an Arsenal title when we are only halfway through the season.

The press are getting all excited because they forgot there was a world cup in the middle of the season.

Personally I don't think we have the squad depth or the experience under pressure that's needed to get over the line.

I'll be ecstatic of course if it did happen, but I think Arteta's target was Champions League and we'd have to be c**ts not to get that.

Granted Steady Eddie has stepped up in Jesus' absence, but injuries to either Odegaard or Partey would put a big dent in our team.

I'd love to see Arteta nick Tielemans from Leicester, and the tight arse Thais might be willing to sell him from under Brendan's feet.
The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth

You are potentially 8 points ahead of the worst (ok, less brilliant) City team in years. In February.

There is nothing ludicrous whatsoever in suggesting that you should win the league this season.

But this, maybe, yes. If They go on a run it may well be squeaky bum time and the usual Arsenal fannies capitulating around April.

Go all out for Kane in the summer.

Then add depth to CM, ship VDB out, develop Antony and Sancho to the system, add a RB.

    And it's looking good.

Shows how little attention you pay.

Usually it's December when the wheels fall off. Technically that's where we're at right and the last four PL games have been:
