Yep, van Nistelrooy, Shearer, and Fowler, perhaps? Faded later on in his career but was always pretty reliable in the box.
Aguero as well.

I'm not sure Linker ever played in the Premiership.
Watford have appointed, err, Nigel Pearson as manager.
It's all set for Moyes and Fat Sam in the next week or two to make their comebacks...
Defensive and direct is where Watford are heading. Would have done well at Arsenal I feel.
Get in there Big Dunc!!
That 4th spot is in sight again.. now just the small matter of a poor Man City team
It's hard to see the mickey mousers fucking it up this year.
When you can piss it without getting out of first gear, you've done most of the hard work.
What's with the plastics and the silly whistling when United have got the ball?
Do they think they're turkish or something?
Fuck Ron Saunders. Take that shit with your Arsenal to the famous kunts who have died thread.
We're the pride of Manchester.
Always have been and always will be.
Plenty of ABUs and bitter blues crying into their pints tonight.
Lovely.
Good year this unless you are an Arsenal fan; youngsters, UK ones at that doing well, teams like Leicester not packed with over paid wankers doing well and billionaire owners with no interest in football not doing so well..ok the last part is still untrue unfortunately.
Probably the first time I've listened to a fan channel and agreed with almost everything they've said...
...until he got to the Lingard stuff. He's been awful for the best part of 12 months no matter how you dress it up.
I owe you a green
I'll tell you what though, Nammers, there's a big job there at Highbury (I'm old skool) for the new man who takes over. United have got plenty of bumps in the road ahead, no plain sailing at all for a while yet, but you can see what we're trying to do with the younger lads.
At Arsenal, beyond Leno, Aubameyang and possibly Lacazette, what is there? Is there owt coming through in the youth team? I don't follow them enough to know, but it seems not. I was saying the same thing to a couple of Arsenal and Spurs fans I work with and, for maybe the first time ever, there wasn't much disagreement!
The new man is gonna have to clear out an awful lot of shit and then make very astute signings. The board needs to choose well because they're most certainly not in a position to throw money at the situation (or willing to after the "success" of Pepe so far).

There's a few: Nelson, Smith Row, willock, Saka, Ballard and we've got martinelli who looks a real striking prospect but all that aside its a fukin defence we need. No good scoring goals when you are shipping more than you are scoring. In all my 48 years following them this is the worst i've felt about them. It partially Wengers fault for having failed to address the defencive issue and buying shit players but also a lack of a settled formation. Sadly until their results pick up i can't see any manager chancing youth like utd or ski.
