When I was at home in the 2000s, and Heinze was playing, my season ticket was in the 2nd tier of the Stretford End, so I had a cracking view of his poor positioning; the reasons why he had to "get stuck in" so often: because he wasn't good enough. He was massively overrated and that's why he got binbagged by Fergie. It's also why he's pulled the wool over the eyes of supporters like you for so long.

I'm not his biggest fan as a person, but as a footballer for United he was up there with the very best. I remember being at Leeds and we were behind coming into the last few minutes. The crowd, as usual at Leeds, were baying for blood and the pressure was massive, but Keane sat in front of the back 4 taking the ball time and time again from the keeper trying to set up the attack.

I think we ended up losing, but it sat with me on coach home and it's still how I remember Keane. People talk about having the balls to play for United and he had them X 10.
