You told me to "get out" in Speaker's Corner a few months ago. You send reds with insults. you troll my Training thread in Health and Fitness.

What comes around goes around, my friend.

You ARE a fair weather "fan."

Here is a more apt photo of San Fran. Back in 1906 during the Great Quake. So tell me, AV, what was that experience like?

have you gone to war with the whole board? Explain how you live your life in Washington state on Thai time? What is the purpose of this silly action?

Also explain why if I am a fair weather fan I put that photo up of Fleet Week this year, and thanking the Giants for their effort this year. You are simply grasping at straws and trying to big yourself up before you go into jail after your third DUI, and you will be going in for that my friend.

And I'd like to add that those red cabbages are from a small number of posters who repeatedly red me.

    Ant
    Davis

    The most.

Then, Neverna, Snub and now AO often but not as much as Ant and Davis.

    Sleep

The title says it all. We all need sleep.

    Do we get enough?

I suspect a lot of the members on the board do not get enough adequate, real, REM, sleep.

    I don't.

I can go to bed early and fall asleep. But I wake up 2 hours too early most mornings. I try to shut my mind down which has been activated, thinking wasteful thoughts about tasks to be done, and what my relationship with someone is. Sports, news, you name it.

    I call this: wasteful thinking.

Once my mind is activated, it's like I'm ready to go - to get up.

But it's too early. I'm deprived of sleep.

No stress (that I know of), no diet issues, no extra caffeine.

    I don't know why.

But what I can do is attempt....to sleep better

    Questions for members:

    1. how much sleep do you get?

    2. Have your sleep patterns changed?

    3. Do you get enough sleep?

    4. Do you take a nap?

    5. Do you do anything to aid your sleep?

    6. Do you take any supplements (e.g. melatonin)?

    7. Do you take any natural things (e.g. Chamomile tea)?

    Over to you.......

Just what is this from less than an hour ago????

    Stop trolling the Health section.

And also, I may very well beat this on a technicality b/c of the breathylizer equipment.

And for TNF, Seattle and AZ will wear "color rush" uniforms.

Seattle will wear neon seaweed green that is ugly as a dog with its butt shaved walking backwards.

    AZ's don't look so bad.

    Ahh, gimmicks.

Bad start for Arizona in tonight's game. Two bad knee injuries. Both left tackle D.J. Humphries and safety Tyvon Branch are out early. Never a fan of seeing injuries like that even to an opposing team.

NBC just showed an on-screen stat of all the penalties seattle has racked up the last few weeks.....they're going to need to do something about that if they want to make a run.

Which Team’s Decision to Not Sign Colin Kaepernick Is Least Defensible?

You’ve surely heard those arguments: Kaepernick is not quite good enough to be a starter; his style of play doesn’t mesh with the offenses that many teams run, thereby making him a bad backup option; he should be a starter in this league, and therefore shouldn’t be signed as a backup. If you talk about this vaguely enough, some of the points might sort of make sense. However, it isn’t possible to go through the league’s most quarterback-needy teams on an individual basis and provide rational, football-rooted explanations for why no team has signed Kaepernick. He is the best available unsigned free agent by leaps and bounds, having finished 17th among qualified players in passer rating in 2016. (The guys who finished 18th through 29th have all started NFL games this year; the guys who finished 15th, 16th, and 19th last season made the Pro Bowl.) Kap also finished second among QBs in rushing yards despite not starting for San Francisco until last October, and posted the league’s sixth-best interception rate. While he has his share of deficiencies, none outweighs the undeniable talent advantage he possesses over the quarterbacks several teams have bet their seasons on.

I’ve ranked seven NFL teams, on a scale of 1–10, in determining how much better off they would be if Kaepernick were their quarterback. This doesn’t encapsulate every team that’s been linked to Kap, but that’s not the point. The point is I’m examining every football-related factor that could be used to justify not signing him — the players who were signed instead, the status of these teams’ 2017 seasons, how well he would fit into each offense, and these organizations’ long-term competitive goals — and evaluating whether they’re reasonable or completely full of crap.I’m not getting political here. In this instance, I’ve decided to stick to sports.

    it's a well reasoned article.

    here are the teams....

    colts
    49ers
    titans
    broncos
    dolphins
    packers
    texans

They will need more than that we just lost Sherman for the season with a ruptured Achilles. Fuck TNF.

a couple of points about the sherman injury....

he's been vocal about his opposition to TNF due to player injuries
he didn't practice all week due to a sore achilles
he hasn't missed a game since he joined the league in 2011

now he's done for the season---at least.

btw, three other seahawks left the game due to injuries.

the NFL owners' greed is disgraceful.

They won't be making a deep run, and penalties is one of a few issues.

Arizona outplayed Seattle that whole game, but just killed themselves with the two dropped TD's plus a shit ton of other unforced errors. That can't happen, and it goes double when you have a backup QB playing and the receivers missing play after play all night long

Combine that with our safety just fully shitting the bed on that absurd Wilson scramble play, which by all rights should have been an INT but instead goes for 60 yards while our safety rolls around like a turtle on his back and that's basically your ballgame.

If its weren't for the Cardinals inability to properly execute their opportunities you wouldn't have been right. Seattle was not impressive, Cardinals just beat themselves by not making the plays that mattered.

I think you fail to realize that Baldwin was blocking on that play he wasn't even supposed to be catching a pass. INT? No one anywhere on the interwebs is saying something that crazy. More like play of the year candidate.
