^ I am with redhaze on this one. Totally blown out of proportion by the NZ paper. It was one guy caught on tape. No mention of it anyplace on American media.

Cards played their best game of the season tonight and made it look easy (albeit against a team that seems pretty lousy). Palmer played his best game. David Johnson is just insane. Never seen any running back make it look as easy as he does, its unreal. I'm convinced he's the best back in the league.
Game against Seattle next week is a big one. It would be nice to say it was for the division lead, that clearly would have been more exciting.
Anyways Cardinals are hopefully kicking it into high gear here after a disappointing early start. We shall see...
Pete Carroll is prolly a good coach, but it must be said the Hawks had extraordinary good fortune to have many lower round draft picks turn into very solid players. The success rate was unprecedented, they had great players on the cheap for a good 3 seasons. Now that they've had to pay some, and see others leave, they are not what they were.
Pete Carrol & John Shneider (PCJS).
Former Operations guy/scout Scott McCloughan who's now at Washington (fired from Seahawks for alcoholism) but a scout wizzard.
And a very talented scout team.
iirc, the Seahawks have the largest number of players on their team that were NOT DRAFTED.
Doug Baldwin, for example, was not drafted.

I actually saw it online the other night on the MSN Sports feed (though I can't remember what paper or website it was from).

Packers win, now enter a very tough stretch of mostly road games.
You guys have a good chance of winning that game. The Seahawks are still banged up. This week Kam Chancellor and Jimmy Graham have yet to practice. Not a good sign.Originally Posted by redhaze
Atlanta forced Seattle to throw, and it nearly worked. Against better D's (excluding Jets and 49ers), with his ability to run sharply limited, Wilson has looked non probowl. He rolls out now, you don't have to be too worried about one of his trademark 5 yard runs down the sideline.
No he hasn't looked good but as serious as the injuries are it is remarkable he has been able to play at all.Originally Posted by UrbanMan

Playing at Twickenham stadium. Sounds like its going to be a much more real experience that in Wembley. Have fun being a rugby fan you must know the stadium well. Almost as old as Wrigley field.
Looks like Graham will go but not Chancellor.Originally Posted by bsnub
Man, I honestly just hope its a good game. Seattle has just crushed us the last three seasons in AZ. Of course we won two pretty exciting ones in the Clink so its not like its been thoroughly lopsided. I look for a hopefully competitive affair, with David Johnson ideally putting the team on his back one more week
About as good as it gets. Are we in a time warp back to the fifties?Originally Posted by redhaze
freaking crazy game. Arizona should have won it 5 times already....
Yeah, a very strange game.
Not the way I saw it. Seahawk D was stiffling and really kept Seattle in the game. For me the difference was Russell Wilson. His injuries have really limited his mobility and he struggled all game long. If he was able to run it would not have been close at all.Originally Posted by aging one
^ The article is pretty spot on. The thing is that RW is much more of a threat when on the run he is very dangerous when doing so. Sadly with these injuries he has become a pocket passer. I surely hope that he will start to heal from these soon.
If the refs wouldn't repeadly hand the Seahawks critical game changing calls this season would be better.
Still no excuse though, Cardinals should have scored at least five field goals. The non call on the blocked FG just changed the whole complexion of the game. They get that call, they get at least 3, they have no reason to go on that 4th and 1. That's 9 points turned to 3 based on that one play.
Also David Johnson appeared to score the game winning touchdown in overtime. Which was inexplicably not reviewed. Call it whining, and the Cardinals clearly should have won in spite of it, but it gets old.
No way the Seahawks can ride a whole season being gifted wins and ties by the officials. Law of averages is going to catch up.
^ Butt hurt alert. Seattle was penalized more than Arizona.
Incidental contact is not a penalty. An amazing play.Originally Posted by redhaze
Not the way I saw it. Like I said earlier a healthy mobile RW and the game would not have even been close.Originally Posted by redhaze

You had better look at the game stats and time of possession snub. Stretching just a bit here.
Look that makes it all the more of an accomplishment by our D. They played an amazing game. The time of possession was because RW could not get the offense going. In my mind it was our D and special teams that was able to keep this game a tie.Originally Posted by aging one
There is no controversy like Redhaze is insinuating. I am all over social media right now and no one is alleging so not even Cardinals fans.
