I'd just like to quote you on that Bob.

Starc has shown the same amazing form with the red ball as he has shown with the white ball for some time. He bowls very accurate 150km+ inswinging yorkers at the stumps time and time again - something Anderson has never been able to do. As the article says, Anderson's best days are behind him - he's on the way out and was never that good besides in English conditions anyway. You would have to have rocks in your head to have him in your team over Starc . The funny thing is, Starc may well have to take a back seat to accommodate Harris' return ... we really are blessed with bowlers these days..

Wally's prediction: Anderson will retire after getting tonked all over the park this ashes

    Fucking classically oarstralian.

Wally is losing the phoney war in quite spectacular fashion here.
Have you watched him bowl recently?

I'm thinking you mustn't have = just waffling..

So who would you take in your team, Harris or Anderson?

Before you put your foot in your mouth again I suggest you take a look at Harris' record - only Dale Steyn has better stats than he and stats don't lie

Half expecting the Aus players to come on with zimmer frames. They may find it hard against Englands callow youth and new found attacking style.

C'mon wally .. I'm sure everyone who has any idea of what they're talking about knows Harris is a good pro but no 'man of the series'.

If his creaking frame holds up he'll probably be able to contain at one end.

Yeah - we are so scared of guys like Bell we just can't sleep at night - like your captain - who needs a night lamp to help him with recurring nightmares of being eaten by snakes and Ryan Harris. Now go take a fucking bath stinky pants!!

So a guy who's scared of snakes, a farmer and a family man who has ripped apart Australian bowling attacks is less admirable than a person who spends his time on grindr, playing online poker and investing money on making himself look more and more like a thunderbird puppet?

I can only think the 'has ripped apart Australian bowling attacks' is the only thing you don't like about him.

    Oh fuck off.

    He is the silent assassin.

He is the perfect accomplice for Johnson.

Just as quick but skids it along the surface.

Again - only Steyn has better test stats than him over the past couple of years ; but on recent form Harris out performed Steyn. Harris is technically the best bowler in the world right now. Show some respect ( and take a bath ) you pommy git

Are you, erm, 'fond of a drop' by any chance wal?
Harris will have minimal impact on this series. That I will predict. An over the hill trundler.

So many of their test side approaching that level with both bat and ball.
Plus Warner, the Vinnie Jones of Aus cricket.

It's why for me it's such an interestingly poised series.

They could murder us or crumble.

Lots of unstable personalities involved, especially Watson, and a captain who commands absolutely zero respect.

And I say that as a polite way of saying 'everyone agrees he's a cnu..t' obviously.

Guilty as charged your honor. Have to admit I have been drinking more than usual with the hot weather arriving. Not a good feeling when you read stuff you don't remember posting
