I agree, but the boat is full of swiss technology. And we don't have to be ashamed of our swiss sailors, Laurent Bourgnon and Steve Ravussin to name only two of them.

As far as I'm concerned, if you can sail down Montblanc you deserve the trophy.

i watched live update via web.. don't get ubc...from the radio accounts the swiss boat is fast, but we have the ability to pull it in.
Only race one , a watch and see race.

Its early days, the boats are so finely matched that a couple of knots up or down will make a difference. The worry for the real kiwi boat is that the Swiss / Kiwi boat appears to be bloody fast down hill.
    I like the commentor's line,

Alinghi is making a lot of noise in the water, but boat or submarine ITS FAST.

Kiwis one up, but what a race, Swiss boat from 400M back took the lead again to lose it only 10 mins from the finish.

Wait and see The jury will deliberate this morning at 11h00.

Very busy day today, had to see Alinghi win the race and then Federer in Wimbledon. Without the rain I could have seen two swiss victories in a row.

The jury has rejected the kiwi's complaint. So now it's 2-2, and soon 3-2 for Alinghi.

We like to call Alinghi our # 2 boat as its kiwi managed & skippered with Kiwis being the majority nationality in the crew

So wadda ya reckon for tonite Wally ? will the gnomes from yodel town do it ?
I think their boat has a very small amount of pace on the Kiwi one, but Generally the Kiwis have displayed a better nose for sniffing the wind.
Dunno myself, its a tight race, will have to get in a couple extra bottles to console myself if your boys do it.
