fact two...Kiwis cannot claim the dole or any other benefits in Australia

fact three...the average Kiwi living in Oz pays more tax (and so earns more) than the average Ocker

fact four...Loy Toy is not an Aussie

I googled your fact three and in fact Kiwis pay the same rate as Aussies but most don't apply for a (TFN) tax file number so get charged the highest rate because of their laziness.

In fact Bwucey Clueliss you are a tosser..........Fact 5 and to add to your list.

^ The GF replay of Bulldogs vs Bunnies should be a really good game today. If you think this weekend's draw is screwed up, have a look at round 8 when there's 5 games back-to-back on the Saturday!.

Referees boss Tony Archer says penalty correct if it was late, high or dangerous

Archer was reluctant to comment given Canterbury skipper James Graham was put on report for the collision that has left South Sydney's Adam Reynolds facing five months out of the game. However the referees boss said: "There can't be late, high or dangerous contact".

The hit: James Graham collides with Adam Reynolds. Photo: Getty Images

"That's how they processed it. It's really difficult for me to comment ... because the player has been put on report for the dangerous contact. There is a process that has to occur in relation to that. Obviously in relation to the incident the referee took some action on the field. A player was placed in the sin-bin because of the comments that were made. No doubt there was some confusion about why the penalty was 10 metres out from the spot. It's not ideal but these circumstances do arrive in games from time to time."

In one of the most extraordinary finishes in rugby league history, a controversial penalty against Graham cost the Bulldogs victory against South Sydney.

Graham was fuming with the match officials after they penalised the Englishman for attacking the legs of Reynolds, who was trying to land a 45-metre field goal in the dying minutes to take the game into golden point.

Reynolds suffered a leg injury in the collision and if it wasn't for the concern shown by Graham for the Rabbitohs No.7, the officials might not have called time out for video referee Bernard Sutton to inspect.

It was brutal and gutsy, but perhaps undeserved was the best adjective to describe South Sydney's come-from-behind victory in the grand final rematch.

The kings of clutch looked to have done it again when Trent Hodkinson slotted a field goal with three minutes remaining, only for controversy to overshadow one of the games of the season.

Earlier, it was an old-fashioned ambush, and for a change it wasn't the premiers dishing it out.

The Bulldogs produced a brutal and relentless onslaught on their arch nemesis, stunning the Rabbitohs with a type of performance that has become synonymous with South Sydney under the Michael Maguire regime.

But an error and a brain explosion from Canterbury in the space of 30 seconds turned the game, and Issac Luke, on its head.

Luke, who missed last year's grand final through suspension, ignited his team into action on the stroke of half-time, darting from dummy half to score.

But the moments leading up to the Rabbitohs rake planting the ball on the chalk would leave Luke in Disneyland, Josh Morris on report and Adam Reynolds taking consecutive shots at goal.

The video referee deemed Morris had lashed out with his boot, making contact with Luke's head - not that his skipper agreed.

"Can you look at the speed we're playing the game at," an angry Graham said to referee Gerard Sutton. "How's he supposed to pull out of it?"

There was an article in the Daily Telegraph.
The journo (obviously a Poodle fan) thought the penalty was unfair until he phoned Bill Harrigan. Bill explained that there can be no contact with a kicker, accidental or not, so the ruling was 100% correct.
That bastion of league knowledge Phil Gould thought at the time the penalty was harsh which indicates to me that rule is not well explained at training sessions because there have been some marginal calls lately.
In any case without Adam Reynolds the Bunnies will be a weaker team, and so will the poodles seeing that Morris and Graham will be out for a while as well.
As for the reaction of the Poodle faithful, that club has always had a siege mentality, the harder the NRL hits them the better.
BTW bloody good game...typical NRL entertainment

Just a heads up for NRL fans who're starved for live games on tv, more so with Setanta/True's new trick of advertising live games then showing something else .

If you have a smart tv or or can turn your dumb tv into one with a Minix box, download ilikehdtv from Google Play Store (it's free), create an account, get some True Money credit from any 7-11, then once you're set-up and hooked into wifi you'll find Premier Sports in the selection of sports channels. They have every NRL game live, the only time games are delayed are if there's 2 on at once. Here's the schedule; NRL |

I have a 3BB 15mps connection that works fine, picture quality isn't as good as True HD but it's good enough. I have the app on my tv, tablet, laptop, and mobile phone . It'll only cost about 30 Baht for a 2hr package to see if you like it, monthly pay-as-you-go costs are about 350 Baht for all English language channels. I really like the app, there's a TON of channels covering everything from sports (all EPL games live for the Poms) to news to movies etc. I've got True Platinum, Pattaya Cable tv, and ilikehdtv at home. If I could only keep one of them for whatever reason, it'd be ilikehdtv. More so as they carry the NRL!.

After watching the Eagles and Raiders game and knowing of Manlys injury list, they did make the Raiders look good, I feel until they get most of their team back they are going to have a very bad start to the year , not being a Manly fan I find this good and hope there are many more screen shots of Toovey , he is nearly as good to watch as Hasler.

Hell yes...NZ might be narrow but it is about as long as from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico

They were seriously bad...the local press are calling them woeful...something is seriously wrong there...although watching the Eels Tigers game was just as bad until Pat Richards showed up....but back to the Warriors...they let Ivan Cleary go...which most people knew was dumb...then they had McLennan for a year...even dumber...then they could only attract Mat Elliott...even dumber...but he managed to bring in a half decent assistant in McFadden...he got some results because he was a half decent assistant...Phil Gould said (after he had poached Cleary) that the Warriors needed a decent coach...not some promising youngster learning the ropes (McFadden)...Gould is normally right...I fear he was this time.

How can RTS be the star fullback of the comp, he has played 5 game at fullback and how many have they won? Sure he is a classy player but how will he go at the Warriors When Tomkins who was the best fullback in Pomgolia played well but did not star, by the way Bwuce what was that you were saying about buying a good coach but should buy back the old team as well . looks like Bennet might be able to inspire some players .

Because the Chooks are snivelling like hell because the Warriors pounced...and have until June to convince him to stay...the contract cannot be registered until then...I cannot see them doubling their money...oh...to your original question...Phil Gould said so.

Tompkins was very good, but not worth the money they paid him...by a long shot...you cannot afford that luxury in the NRL...his main advantage was to add experience to a youthful backline...he has this season to add that...I think this is a win win...even if the Chooks match the Warriors offer...there is talent to burn coming through the ranks here now.
