I though Argentina lacked something without Di Maria in the final two games.

Shame., but the better team won. Nicely taken goal.

Wasn't convinced with Messi's award for best player in the tournament.

Luiz Felipe Scolari: Brazil coach 'resigns' after World Cup 2014


Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has resigned after his country's failure to win the 2014 World Cup, reports Brazilian broadcaster Globo TV.

Scolari, 65, won the tournament in 2002 but his side could only finish fourth when hosting this year's event

I watched the losers game in the Augustiner Keller Munich....but no chance of getting in there for the final. Had to go to Hirschgarten...but still an excellent time had. The Argentine disallowed goal got the crowd dumbstruck followed by elation when the flag went up....

All in all, a jolly good week-end with Bastille Day to recover.......

Fully agree - he is an important player for them, links midfield to attack, frees space for Messi. I reckon they'd have won if he'd played.

No bias, typical keeper over look.. Definitely deserved over Messi, I'd even put Klose in that nomination given his contributions and his record goal scoring achievement.. More accomplishment than Messi by a wide margin just as many goals too, not certain how many assists to go with it..
