But it did not used to be this way, and that is where the fan base came from. Seeing games. Now the average family cannot afford to do that. Its not right.
So true! I am a big fan of MLB. During the time that the family stayed in Colorado for a year, we tried to attend as many games as possible.

With a family of three (not counting the sober driver) we easily spent $100 on drinks and food at one game.

Could not afford three games a week.

Would love to have season tickets but way out of range on my budget.

The Giants won in a comeback. Buster Posey hit a homer to win the game.

^ I am wishing and hoping to get to see the Giants, some time between the 20 of July and the 15th of August...... Counting on a corporate holder with 4 seats for each game.

The mega deal between the Miami Marlins and Giancarlo Stanton is set to make the young slugger the highest-paid player in American sports.

CBSsports.com reported Monday that a deal is in place for a record $325 million over 13 years, citing sources close to the team. The announcement is expected at a Wednesday news conference at Marlins Park.

Just wish Loria would spend a bit more on some other good players

^ There was some talk that my Mariners would make a run at trying to sign Stanton. He would have been the perfect complement to Cano. Oh well. Congrats Stanton is the real deal and most likely a future Hall of Famer..
