Not such good news for Port- they lost to Freo by 8 points (in Fremantle), and now they have to play a barnstorming Richmond- off a nine game winning streak (phew!), in a sudden death final- albeit at Adelaide Oval.

So annoyed with Sydney and the Tigers. My Eagles were going to win tomorrow and take 8th place. Not anymore

A week after Port thrashed them by over 100 points... Can't see them getting far.

This saga would be one of the most exciting/enjoyable times in AFL history? For me - an ex-Aussie Rules player (decades ago), I do not give a rat's arse on the outcome - just enjoying the journey. Good luck to all of you.

Good to see Aussie Network finally meeting the censors approval......

The meaningless Bulldogs GWS game was a cracker.

^ Now that's a strange one- "gotiges", yet the Tigers are in shreds and superimposed on an unbroken Port 'V for victory'. Jeez, with supporters like that bring in some of the intellectuals from Collingwood.

    Bob any thing can happen.
Swanies have been a little off lately & the Docker have been up there.
Now it's going to be a good Saturday game.

Wouldn't surprise me mate. The Dockers are no slouches- might be worth a punt for the right odds.
I gotta hope they are no slouches, because having beaten Port by a modest 8 points (in freo), now we gotta face a tigers outfit walking on Cloud nine. But we'll wipe the smile of their boat.

Not sure how you work that out?

Against Richmond they lost a game they didn't need to win by resting several key players.

If they had needed to win that game they would have by a country mile.

    Week 22 - Won by 63
    Week 21 - Won by 71
    Week 20 - Won by 26 over a Top 8 team
    Week 19 - Won by 22 over a Top 8 team

Sure doesn't look like a team that is 'a little off lately'

Lost 2 of their last 19 games, one of which they rested 5 major starters....

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning the fact that the Dockers could unthinkably win, but your logic that the swannies have been off lately is just nonsense.

We lost 3 of the first 4 when certainly players were out and they were gelling as a team. That's done now, lost only one proper game since. And we are at home.

    Freo..... pppppffffffffffffffttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
