not scoring fantasy points doesn't mean they are not playing well

look at all those defensive midfielders that never pick up more than a couple a game

    flawed scoring system

Lescott and Richards certainly didn't do anything to worry Mancs first choice defenders last night.

Rather than whinging about not being given a fair chance they should concentrate on getting the basics of defending correct.

And Man U were as shambolic as ever. They can't even pass the ball to each other anymore. Does anyone really still think Rooney is worth that extra 3 million more than the likes of Lukaku and Remy?

    ^
i read your comments before seeing the results and assumed they had both lost

    what a disappointment

big captaincy decision to be made this week
i haven't a clue who to plump for
might well be a coin toss

They did their best to do so but Bayern got too cool for school and relaxed, and a typically scruffy Jones goal saved Utd.

It was surprising that City didn't bring on Aguero with them only needing one more goal to top the group. Milner let slip that it was because the City brains trust thought they needed two more goals rather than one.

Typical N. English candour that - I can't imagine the likes of Silva saying, basically, 'yeah the boss fucked up.'

The captaincy decision this week is interesting, eh? Not just straightforward 'Suarez or Aguero?'.

I still feels that, as at Albion, you really never know what you're going to get from Lukaku, and the same is true of Remy.

4 way toss up at the moment

    lukaku
    hazard
    aguerro
    suarez

very difficult to not go with suarez but liverpool's away form isn't up to much
lukaku is so in and out of games
everton don't pick up on his runs often enough for me to have faith in him

    don't know

yep. plus everton's midfield doesn't quite have the quality to maintain pressure high up.

and he can be quite predictable and is getting worked out by the better defenders. he's often looking to break right and cut it in onto his left. townsend is the same but worse. lukaku has a load of promise of course - just saying that at his age he's not the finished article. curtis did a terrific job on him for hull by not getting too tight to him.

that's why i swapped him for remy about a month ago. he could still prove me disastrously wrong, needless to say.

    i think so, yes

if liverpool were at home, i'd have no hesitation

the one time i captained lukaku this year, he got 2 goals and an assist against newcastle .... 34 lovely points

Suarez still averages 6 pts away from home, lukaku has only come up with the big points twice so far this season

    would be a risk

aguerro at home would be the best bet, but it's against arsenal

without suarez as captain, some weeks I'd have scored virtually nothing

he's been getting 30 or more out of a total of 50 odd

btw... if you only want to upload pictures for certain people to see you're better off using picasa or another picture upload site and set it to private

when I joined google+ it automatically added you to my list just because your email was in my contacts

so basically, anyone who you've ever emailed will be able to see them

it's all terribly confusing and very good reason to go nowhere near social networking sites of any kind

He was very good for us and we managed to wring some daft amount of money from villa for him when villa could still afford to pay daft amounts of money.

Capello saw great things in him but then he had a wretched run of injuries, didn't he.

If he played for a London club he'd be talked about as a prospect for Brazil.

He totally did a job on Lukaku.

    Absolutely.

He'll return 1 point x2 some game soon.

    nope, it isn't

sometimes you can get lucky, sometimes unlucky

but sometimes you're just better sticking with the man in form and not looking at "tough" or "easy" fixtures to work out who will do best

I will be deciding on saturday morning at 11.29am

suarez will be without gerrard's supply for a month...that's a negative

on the other hand, suarez will now be taking the penalties
