Sounds like another flat performance by Rooney vs Bruges. Subbed by Fellaini, who scored.
Will he even start against Newcastle?

That's probably why he was subbed, to keep him fresh.
I've captained him against the Geordies, so he probably will be pants.
He was subbed because he hardly touched the ball in the box - as he hasn't in the first two league games.
this seasons ballotelli?
he worked hard as he always does. He will start firing soon
i can guarantee you he won't be subbed by Fellaini this weekend
I can.
He's suspended
Chelsea have signed Pedro. ManYoo have apparently bid 60m for Muller. Where are all the strikers?
And it looks like Chelsea are going to go up to 40 mil for Stones.
Mad money.
Rooney reckons he's only had one poor game - v villa.
40m for Stones is mental. Interesting discussion on Second Captains about this and how Stones would be mad to go into the poison atmosphere of Chelsea with John Terry. Stones going in there as Terry's successor. Can you imagine how much of a [at][at][at][at] Terry would likely be? If I were Roman, I'd consider putting Terry down. Make it quick, put him out of his misery and move on with the minimum of fuss. Bolt to the back of the neck. Roman likely has people on staff for such a task.
Polonium would be a better option.
Maybe dabbed on a team mate's bird's nipple.
but hes captain, leader, legend
thats almost stalinesque behavior
Might be worth captaining a Chelsea defender this weekend.
Ha, yes. There does seem this ominous certainty that they'll provide a massive shutout.
I also can't help but feel that a Rooney goal or two tomorrow is inevitable. Though a run of consistency throughout the season is absolutely impossible. It's clear that the battle against his genes and the volume he's played since he was 16 have resulted in a 30 year old footballer having a 36 year old footballer's body.
Yeah - a kind of less fucked up version of Gazza.
If he doesn't score tomorrow he'll be dropped faster than Bill Cosby's Christmas Special.
His dismal stats quite apart from not scoring are a worry.
I'm expecting to be booting him out sharpish.
I also would not be in the least bit surprised if Chelsea run riot and get 5+
They'll be that motivated and we look that bad.

Mourinho's last seven losses have been to a team whose manager's surname begins with a 'P'.
Not a lot of people know that.
My wildcard sponked as well....zero defence.

got my double Manure defence on the wc....something going right at last.
Hardly 'in tears' at something so predictable.
He had a goal wrongly disallowed that might have put him on a roll though.
Looks like those 25 transfers last week have put a spring in your step.
Hat trick for Wilson - the next bandwagon.

But Fcuk I'm paying a price at the moment.
Need 2 or 3 from Alexis on Monday.
City drew 1-1 at Goodison last season...
Yes, my WC saw Rooney and Depay out and Romero in so that was a welcome start to post-wildcard life. Also a good start for my cheapo defence with a goal and an assist and a couple of bonus points for my Norwich and Bournemouth punts. Sadly Francis's assist and bonus points were on the bench.
Watching Leicester, I'm possibly convinced by Mahrez. Had I waited another week, I suppose I would have brought him in and had a stronger defence though with the speed of the price rises, a lot of that would have been eaten up.
We are already in the template at week 3 but I think it might be a lot less rigid this season with the flexibility allowed by these mid-priced options. More players to come in yet. ManYoo are obviously going to buy Neymar for a start.....
