that all sounds entirely plausible
it's difficult to imagine any manager wanting the job except for michael appleton

can you imagine what the spurs fans would make of malky's tactics?Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty

Didn't Mackay play much nicer football with Watford though due to the types of players he had at his disposal. He then went to Cardiff, looked at what he had and identified what he'd need to go up. I think that's his strength, he appreciates what is needed to do a certain job and is rather pragmatic about it. I'd imagine that given the talent at his disposal at Spurs, he'd probably look to employ something more expansive. This idea that managers only really know one way to coach is puzzling to me. Surely a good manager can adapt. I'm interested in seeing how Palace continue to develop under Pulis. He's taken over a side put together by an attacking manager in Holloway. Let's see how Stoke they get.
looks like malky is digging in...
BBC Sport - Cardiff City: Malky Mackay 'will not resign' after owner's criticism
he's dug in for months now
he won't resign for sure
the pair of them are playing funny fukkers
tan is trying to make it impossible for him to work and malky is getting on with it remarkably well while trying his best to anger tan into firing him
there's only going to be one winner so the sooner they agree some sort of termination package the better
4 pts above the drop
can't sniff at that
I thought they'd be bottom by a similar margin

this spat has nothing to do with points or results i don't think
the stuff robin said earlier about tan's dislke of makay and the reasons ring true
that aside, the style of football we play is shocking
i wouldn't mind a change and it's going to happen anyway, so before saturday would be a decent time to start
Peace gave an interview a couple of months ago in which he was explicit about what most albion fans have long suspected: that he budgets for albion to be a championship club rather than a premiership club.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty
I think Mackay could well be someone he's looking at. He hates paying compensation though, so he might be prepared to wait out the stand off at Cardiff.
It does look as if it's just a question of when rather than if re Mackay's termination, doesn't it.
I can't see any credibility in any of the other 'candidates', except maybe McInnes.
was listening to radio 5 and the midlands correspondent thought Ralf Rangnick was the most likely
apparently peace is a fan and he was close before clarke was appointed
Pat Murphy, by any chance?
He tends to make it up as he goes along.
yes
think it was murphy
he seemed quite adamant about it
podcast is here
BBC - Podcasts and Downloads - 5 live Football Daily

Might have a look in to see my boy pick up some points
Zabaleta out - and i was regretting dumping him.
no wonder you are doing so shit if you are using MOTD as a guide for team selectionOriginally Posted by NickA

great commentary by barry glendenning on the guardian's minute by minute report
The Guardian's text commentary:
ET 27: It's all Sunderland at the moment. They are battering Chelsea with the power of 10,000 suns.
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL!!!!!!!!! GOAAAAAAAALL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Sunderland 2-1 Chelsea (Ki 118) Sunderland have taken the lead with less than two minutes of extra time to go.
I'm hoping kolarov will get switched to right back.
Not my most inspired signing so far.
are curtis davies and james chester the best centre half pairing in the premier league at the moment?
certainly the best english pairing but i can only think of cardiff with an english partnership
not long to go til the wild card
i could do with a bit of a shuffle but injuries keep forcing me to change a player a week
Who still has their original wildcards? I do. I think Jofrey does.
blimey...you haven't used it yet??
i used mine in week 3 just to bring van persie in.......that was a heinous waste
zabaleta did his hamstring
would be amazed if he plays before new year
i reckon you should keep him
massive advantage for re-i and robin i reckon
done well to be where they are and hold off on playing their wildcard so long
i reckon i'll be playing mine as soon as january starts
find them irresistible
