^World of Boxing a bit quiet ?
Three month *bump* on this thread. (Thanks for the reminder, snubs).
Not much happening in the square ring so far this year. But taking a leaf from UFC there have been a few (crowd-less) matchups in the last few weeks.
One of my favourite current fighters, the dominant guy at 130lb; Miguel Berchelt had a 'stay busy' fight recently. Without a load of passionate fans there is something of a 'sparring session' atmosphere to boxing, which strangely doesn't seem to affect the MMA fighters on current evidence.
According to the channels there are some fights signed and in the mix for later this year, hopefully. -Lomachenko v Lopez the most anticipated (for me anyway) is already a done deal for this September. Fury supposedly fighting AJ also, but nothing signed yet..
Anyway, Berchelt v Valenzuala full fight here:
In case you are really starved, there are five fights here from last night.

There were a couple of (presumably socially distanced) fights last night.
Boxing Torrents - Watch & Download on EZTV
*** Spoiler ***
Don't scroll down if you are waiting to watch the fight.
Povektin threw a spanner in Whyte's works by fucking him up in the fifth.
Unfortunately there is no torrent as yet because, and I can only assume there is fuck all else to watch, Sky are actually charging for the reruns!
But if you can't wait for the full fight:
Could be of interest to OZ fans,Jeff Horn versus Tim Tszyu in Townsville tomorrow night.
The great Kostya will be hoping his son Tim gets a win then hopefully can step up to the world stage.
According to epidemiological studies, it is estimated that 178 million Americans are missing at least one tooth and about 40 million Americans are missing all of their teeth. As we age, the problem gets worse as 30 percent of adults between 65-74 years old have no natural teeth.
Not that fucking good is it?
Now piss off, there's boxing on and you can't watch it.
Well they did the decent thing and spared him a knockout.
End of career I fancy.
^End of one career and the start of another one at International level. Jesus Christ he was well prepared for that fight, would like to see him step up a few levels in class now.
^No idea who's who in that division but certainly a high ranked fighter. Every time he fights he steps up in class and so far, has handled it all with ease. Let's see how he shapes up against the big boys and if he can do the things his old man achieved.
Crappy old brawl,Horn looked like he was out of gas early on,tried the old clinch, clinch the whole time.
May of been starving himself to make the weight,,time to retire.
Tim had a bit of the old Kostya in him with that determined look when he was trying to clobber Horn.
Went and looked at the highlights of Kostya's fights,he was a keen bugger, chasing the opponent around to finish him off.
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink
*bump*
Instant classic this morning. One of the best fights this year (maybe this decade). Five rounds of carnage, 6-7 knock-downs, and a final KO that was utterly devastating. Two top #10 contenders in the stacked Super Lightweight (140lbs) Division.
Ivan Baranchyk v Jose Zapeda. A fucking humdinger of a fight:

Some great fights scheduled this October. Top fight the mouth-watering showdown of all the gongs at 135lbs between Lomachenko and the exciting power-punching Lopez at Lightweight.
