There's been a lot of talk over the last 3 days that Laudrup wants out of Swansea. Would be a huge blow to them IMO. Seems to be over the lack of available funds, as is often the case.

looks like a good idea signing young players
Chelsea to sign Bayer Leverkusen
forward André Schürrle
, appears set to become Jose Mourinho's first signing at Chelsea following his return to Stamford Bridge after the west London club confirmed they had signed the 22 year-old on Thursday.
I told you so ............
Owen Coyle just became the new Wigan manager.
I can't see Laudrup leaving, he was adamant at the end of the season he would stick with them, and besides.. where would he go?
He'll raise his personal capital higher by sticking with them for another two seasons and continuing to play good football despite the odds, the Everton job will be up for grabs again then
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
WTF do you mean by that ?, do you think Martinez will bomb and if so why?Originally Posted by Neo

Could well be that the United job will be up for grabs in two years.
We have a very interesting season coming up, with the focus on the performance of the managers.
Mouriniho, Pellegrinini, Moyes, Martinez, Villas-Boas, Pochettino, Wenger, all have a point to prove and their reputation at stake and none of them have any excuses.
It's going to be a proper ding-dong!
How long will they be given to prove themselves, 1 season, 2? Pochettino has a difficult task in creating a team that can stay in the Premier League and maintain a threat to all other teams, the rest of them are battling for supremacy now that Ferguson has gone.
dont worry pinnochio will be gone by christmas with that shit cortese to follow. will swap you chamberlaine for shaw if thats ok?
It'll go one way or the other, but it's looking good.
Cortese got the terms he wants, which is basically no interference form the owners and he'll give Pochettino free reign for standing by him in the last few weeks. Southampton need to be consistent this season and stay up, and build on the team we've got.
They've chopped out some of the deadwood, though Puncheon remains... secured new contracts with Lallana and Schneiderlin, and looking to get some fresh talent in, the Croation defender Lovren looks good that they've just signed.
Any ideas where Rooney is likely to end up?
I have seen Arsenal and Chelsea mentioned but am way too busy to keep up with it just now.
Forgot to add Paul Lambert, Pardew and Di Canio to that list.
Paul Lambert will continue to struggle with his plan to start from scratch at Villa and Di Canio looks set to have the same problem, could start to see results for Lambert in their second season with him, but I doubt if he has much left for transfers to fill the gaps. As for Di Canio and Sunderland, I'll be surprised if they don't get relegated and a stormy relationship is inevitable.. then of course there's Pardew at Newcastle, he may have secured his job there, but Newcastle fans are notorious for outing managers they're unhappy with and if he can't do something with the bunch of French mercenaries he hired they may also be saying goodbye to the PL.Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio is looking to bring in 10 players during the transfer window, while keeper Simon Mignolet, 24, and midfielder Stephane Sessegnon, 29, are set to leave the Stadium of Light. ^ The beauty of football debates mate. The truth will out.
Newcastle have appointed former manager Joe Kinnear as their new director of football.

^ 100%. Now would be the perfect time business wise to flog him. He will still command a decent price right now, but it will get lower and lower from this point on.
Right now United could get more than he's actually worth for him IMO, based on his name and reputation, next year at a year older and a bit further down the performance slope, he won't worth much at all in comparison.
