^ Reds or the Brumbies would likely beat any Home Union and probably the Lions.
    Think of the embarrassment!
Wallabies B and C in the last two years beat Wales how many times straight?
    And England.
It's a shame our player depth is so shallow.....

Never mind, Robbie will ensure you beat the Wobblies this time round..

Erm, so who is playing the tests against the Lions? The Wallabies or some S15 side/s?

    Just asking, like.

Luckily for the Lions, it Robbie's take on Wallaby gold.
    Lions 2-1

Your opinion, shame your Union was too scared to try and prove it with the Reds, we'll see about the Brumbies agianst the DT's, that's probably where they will have half a go....

2012 most of the usual first choice wallabies were injured, 40 players host the pitch and 13 new caps given.
Most of those not first choice plaers won't be in the run on side for test 1.
Not denigrating Wales, they had their own injury concerns.
But it says something about the lack of depth we keep hearing about.

The weakened Supersides are purely Deans idea, not the Unions.
The whole tour is becoming somewhat of a political fiasco.

Hardly B's and C's, I think you need to look at the sides for the series in Australia again cos you argument doesn't hold any water at all.

    Genia all 3 tests
    Pocock all 3 tests
TPN / Moore all 3 tests
    Inane all 3 tests
    Barnes all 3 tests
    AAC - all 3 tests
    Higginbotham - all 3 tests
    Palu - all 3 tests
    Sharpe - all 3 tests

Copper and O Connor are the only players I remember missing and probably Drew Mitchell but he's no first teamer.

    Again hardly B and C's

You've got a far bigger injury worry at this time......

    Purely Deans' idea?

I'll take a link to that because that's just bullshit.

Deans has no say over the Super XV sides.... The only people they will take instruction from is the Union. Now Deans works for the Union so it may be his idea but it would go nowhere without the Unions support.

Can you see mckenzie taking instruction from Deans?

    Bet you can't link it.......

I found it amusing that Sanzar bloke saying that the Lions would not be allowed to go to anywhere other than the SANZAR nations because of their TV deal....that ends in a couple of years. I would love to see the Lions ditch Australia, especially as they are the easybeats of the sanzar nations, and go to South America, playing the national test sides in the continent finishing with 3 tests against Argentina.

Whitewash to the Lions, and Deans gets another 2 years extension Hoorahh!

    Ehhh?
Wallaby squad is in camp, only deans can release them to play, which he has done ( two each) for the Bumbies and the Tahs.

The Farce was the exception (arguably) in that they had a SXV fixture in less than 4 days later. Probably wouldn't have made much difference. All other SXV sides will be putting full squads, less any Wallabies on the field.
Country was always supposed to be club players, though they slipped somemSXV development players in their.
The useless Barbarian side was all the Lions doing, wanted a few million quid to pay for the tour.
Lets wait for the rest of the matches before jumping on the pseudowhinger bandwagon...

Tahs side. Minus all the deadweight.

    1. Jeremy Tilse (Sydney University, vice captain)
    2. John Ulugia (Eastern Suburbs)
    3. Paddy Ryan (Sydney University)
    4. Will Skelton (Sydney University)
    5. Ollie Atkins (Sydney University)
    6. Jed Holloway (Southern Districts)
    7. Pat McCutcheon (Sydney University)
    8. Dave Dennis (Sydney University, captain)
    9. Brendan McKibbin (Eastern Suburbs)
    10. Bernard Foley (Sydney University, vice captain)
    11. Peter Betham (Sydney University)
    12. Tom Carter (Sydney University)
    13. Rob Horne (Southern Districts)
    14. Cam Crawford (Northern Suburbs)
    15. Drew Mitchell (Randwick)
    Replacements
    16. Luke Holmes (Warringah)
    17. Richard Aho (Randwick)
    18. Sam Talakai (Sydney University)
    19. Lopeti Timani (Southern Districts)
    20. AJ Gilbert (Northern Suburbs)
    21. Matt Lucas (Manly)
    22. Ben Volavola (Southern Districts)
    23. Tom Kingston (Sydney University)

Standouts would be Foley and Crawford, but look for Kingston if he gets a run.
Also worth a look is Skelton, Boy/Man Mountain who wades though mauls totally destroying them with some what unique style that only 20 year old blokes who weigh135kgs can do. Bit soft, but may well be a force.
Beetham is quick on the wing, Tom Carter voted most likely to do a Duncan McCrae.

Hopefully Aussie sport will continue its supersonic, monumental nosedive into the depths of oblivion....that should shut the mouthy fuckers up for a bit.

    Guffaw.

And that guy who punched O'Gara is a kunt. 12 years late but better than never, innit.

Good for them I say...well done Japan.

Looks like they were so happy at winning they gouged that poor fuckers eyes out.

It's bubbling up nicely for next week in Brisbane. Lions look strong but I'm sure the Aussies will carve them open at times.

Meh, entertaining game in the first half, Tahs steamrolled in the second.
Brilliant kicking from ha'pence. That will be what sinks the Wallabies.

Robbie Deans cunning little plan to discredit McKenzie failed when the Tahs had three times the margin put on them and the Wallabies he sent in to bolster the side where shown up to be totally useless. Bwahahahahahaha.

    Not the 5 tries then?

Anyway, Shane Williams called up to play the midweek game! I reckon gatland put a load of cash on at the bookies for him to play in a lions shirts; odds of 1000/1 I reckon. This has betting scandal all over it. lol

I can see why, and it'll give the Australian media something to play with, lions put out a second rate team vs the mighty Brumbies......

2, maybe 3 of the players are not even in Australia yet......55555

Shame though because an unbeaten tour was on the cards til now.....

They will beat the Brumbies - Maybe bringing Shane in is saying " heh, you're so rubbish we will beat you with some old boy who retired 2 years ago on the wing" .

^ Teams have been putting 5 tries on the Tahs all year, and last..

Christian Wade had been called into the squad.
