Yes, it should. The failure of your so called majority to silence the trash is an indictment of American society. They always fail to acknowledge their faults and profess superiority over the decent people in the world. They are disgusting beyond belief and have no sense of values. They are a rich country but they do not deserve their wealth. They show no respect for others and I hold them in contempt.

    Unreal.

My pulse is still at 120. That must count as one - if not the - most amazing comebacks of all times.

As to the American spectators, I really wish that the marshalls would single out some of the idiots like the one on the 2nd tee shouting 'in the water!' when Ian Poulter hit his tee shot to the par 3.

Time for a shower and a coffee and then off to the office. Will be a long day.

It wasn't looking good for europe at 2.30am so i retired for the night, bugger, bugger, bugger. Fortunately we are able to view the re-run tonight to savour the victorious atmosphere that only the Ryder Cup can conjour up.

Quite unbelievable, i think that no team has won more than 8 points on the final day and of course to do it on away soil is even more satisfying.

I'm off the first tee at 8.30 this morning and i'll be tipping my hat to the magnificent europeans prior to driving down the fairway.

You getting a red has nothing to do with golf but everything to do with being an annoying and vile prick who contaminates every thread with venom.

My mate from Asoke flew over for it, had a ticket for me but as I was having surgery I decided to decline (plus I went to australia to watch Wales earlier).

He messaged me yesterday and said how magnificent the crowds were, how friendly and what a great town Chicago was.

Said there were just as many dumb Europeans there especially after victory, but the locals could not have been more graceful in defeat.

He did say "In the Hole" does grate but is harmless at the end of the day.....

Fuck I wish I'd gone, even his Thai GF really enjoyed it.....

As for the golf, it was just amazing.....

I started watching at 23:00 (watching the Niners in pat=rallel) and figured I'd be in bed by 03:00.

Although one hoped it looked unlikely, until Justin Rose started to break their spirit at 16, 17 and 18. It was just amazing stuff and I ended up still sitting there when the kids came down for breakfast.

So glad I stayed and watched, watching a repeat of something like that does it no justice....... Just superb.

It only grates for those who think endless choruses of "ole -ole-ole" are an auditory delight. It's all about context.

Incorrect... Ole Ole Ole Ole Olly is just as irritating, but at least it isn't heard at every shot on a European golf course.

I mean what sort of fucktard thinks a tee shot on a par five has a remote chance of going in the hole?? Plenty of people at Medinah did......55555

Anyway, he had a great time and said 99.9% of it was in good fun.

You are very childish. Don't you have better things to do than to send abusive messages and "reds" ? It would appear that you are incapable of rational debate. Do you stamp your feet when you read something you don't like ?

Houmourous is funny the first time, often the second third and fourth time..... but are you seriously telling me that the American public still find this wondourous gag funny..... that after every par 5 tee shot people are left giggling at the amazing wit showed by the guy who shouted it?

Or are you justmaking excuses because you cannot take the loss of face that your people still do it..... how quaint, how Thai....

It's just become the schtick of some people. Don't need to over analyze it or make some rational sense out of it. Honestly, I don't what the big deal is.

Don't worry, I've been to enough American sporting events to know there is little rational about American sports fans.

Good to see they've got well used to losing and have shown to be good at it.

Nothing wrong with the fans chanting, USA, USA or Ole, Ole, certainly and long may it last. It's a team game after all.

The 'in the hole' call is incredibly irritating and imo only a dumb ass who is oblivious to his own low IQ would cry out such a phrase in the presence of knowledgable spectators.

On the whole the crowd appeared to be well behaved. No throwing the ball back onto the fairway/green when landing amongst spectators.

Obvious disappointment from the US players on a final day which can provide both expectations and extreme pressure from individuals, it's what the cup is all about and nobody would want it any other way.

Brookline was memorable for the US performance on the final day and i suspect the same will apply with the Euro team performance rather than the american one on this occasion.
