I tried to get the YouTube channel on my tablet and it won't work. It's fine on the laptop though.

Well the favourites were well beaten. Borat from Kazakhstan won the road race from a Colombian lottery ticket seller.

    the cycling commentary was horrendous.

tough and long race. The race profile (the breakaway, the chase, the catch, the 2nd breakaway, the chase, the breakaway in the lead group, and the sprint, if you want to call it that) was exactly as I expected it to be. Although it was an admirable effort, the Brits were unfortunately, able to execute as I would have expected in being able to catch the 2nd breakaway within the last 7 kilo.

Enjoyable to spectate none the less.

Watching reruns of Bantamweight boxing this morning. You don't get to see these weights much outside the Olympics. Brilliant stuff. Although they'll pulled the on-screen scores now, so you don't get to see what the judges have scored until the end of the round.

    You Beauty.

AUSTRALIA won its first gold medal of the London Olympics when the women's 4x100m freestyle relay team swam out of their skins in a superb performance.

Led off by Alicia Coutts, who earlier swam in the semi-finals of the women’s butterfly and made the final, Australia were third after the first change before Cate Campbell narrowed the gap to second.

Teenager Brittany Elmslie put Australia in front with a blistering 53.41sec split before Melanie Schlanger hung on over a fast-finishing Netherlands with and the United States back in third.

Australia won in 3:33.15 - which was an Olympic record.

^ it's only day 2! Realistically, we're not too good at this, we can go for a top 10 finish, and hope to beat the Aussies, that's about it...
