The car run on compressed air, brilliant idea, so it's a real engine, but highly compressed air is put into the cylinder, and to recharge it, you just need to have a regular air compressor, so easy. Top speed is only 60km/h which makes it the perfect vehicle for urban area. Autonomy though is only a couple of hours. But fuck, it runs on air. Why has anyone thought of that before, I don't know.
May be an urban myth but heard it chewed over a while back that the US have been experimenting with aircraft that use compressed air for propulsion, and as far back as the 70s. This may account for some 'ufo' sightings.

Just finished watching Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (series 5 episode 1) and really enjoyed it. I think I shall start downloading episode 2.

Wheeler Dealers - I have been really enjoying it.

Buying old cars doing them up and selling them. A bit cheesy but still good.

Yeah that's a good show but it's more like Ramsey's Kiitchen makeovers. There are some absolute horrors that he discovers and he's really brutal with some of the chefs and managers: "Fire your assistant manager. He does nothing here."

The UK version is a lot better (without the makeovers), but the "nightmares" aren't nearly as bad. But again, he's brutally honest with people: "Fire your head chef. He doesn't know beef tenderloin from his own shit."

"Hell's Kitchen" is also good: "That looks like a dog's dinner! Get that shit out of here before you're fucking wearing it!"
"Fuck off. And take your stupid cult with you."

    Midsomer Murders

starring John Nettles as Inspector Barnaby and Troy his trusty Sargeant.

Didn't really watch this when living in England, but now I'm here it is nice to see rural England as portrayed in this detective series.

    11 series so far, normally 8-11 epsidodes of 100 mins each. 1998 - 2007.

TPB & Mininova have all the torrents.

    Manufacturing Consent (Noam Chomsky)

A documentary about Noam Chomsky, a linguistic genius who became a political activist through his understanding of language. It's a very long documentary, very articulate, with a lot of historical footage. A bit long, with 3 parts of 1 hour, but great to watch.

It was interesting to learn about a bit more about this man, often demonized by right wing facist movement like the Bushies,

His ideas are quite interesting, and his fundamental leap from language structure to political manipulation is a logical one IMO.

    A must see,

    B5 was absolute shite.

I'd like to get the original Star Trek series but unable to find a torrent that works. Saw them packaged up neatly in MBK a while back, but too damn tight to buy them.

Now that Demonoid has passed away Where everyone hanging out to get their movies? I was tryiong to get 'The Lady Vanishes (1938)', but again, can't find a working link.

    Geisha Girl

A 15-year old Japanese girl decides to become a geisha, so she leaves her family and friends and goes to Kyoto where she undergoes training. The doco films her journey and her parent's and friends reactions to her decision. Pretty good - a very good look at the life of the geisha (there are only about 800 left in Kyoto).

Sorry CMN -- I downloaded it over a year ago and it's been sitting on my hard drive since then. I think I downloaded it from a pay site a while back - Blueyoyo.com

    I only download DVDR torrents.

Currently got Planet of the Apes Evolution Edition disc 2 of 6, For a Few Dollars More, Star Trek: The next Generation Complete disc 9 of 60 coming in.

Just completed Disc 1 of Planet of the Apes, Call of Cthulhu, The Comebacks (pile of sheite) and Terminator 2.

I only use private sites such as Bitsoup, Midnight Torrents and Leecher's Lair.

I keep me ratio up by running Greedy Torrent.

it's a cheat that will get you banned from private sites if they catch you.

you don't need it since you only use public trackers.

CMN I don't have the time to download movies and such, but would like to set myself up for it when I stop work - as you said you never miss UBS.
I was wondering about the security of my system if left on all day for others to "leech" from, is it safe?
You seem the most knowledgable on this, any advice would be welcome.
