^^ Yeah, kind of 'Fargo' (tv) Aus style.
I'm enjoying it - just about to watch episode 4.
New series of The Apprentice.
Pretty awful.
I can only stand about 7 seconds of that wanker Sugar.
It sounds whacky enough to be like Fargo.
A man is pursued by a vast tank truck trying to drive him off the road. He wakes in hospital, hurt, really really really thirsty but somehow alive. However, he has no idea who he is, so he searches for answers propels him through the vast and unforgiving outback of Australia until he finds a can of mountain dew.
It’s OK. No big deal

Ghostbusters Afterlife is pretty entertaining.
I don’t think many here are into Westerns but so far, the first 2 episodes are pretty good.

"1883" is quite good. I like Sam Elliot - great voice - great stash.
He was great as the Sergeant Major in "We Were Soldiers Once".
Not seen that, will have to check it out.
^Mel Gibson. 1st Cav debacle in the I Drang Valley in 1965. One of the first major helicopter assaults in the war, and the first time a US unit went head-to-head with North Vietnamese regulars. Quite a good movie.

They set up 1883 in the latest season of Yellowstone (which is a pretty good show in its own right). The flashback scenes of the earlier generation of Duttons didn't make that much sense when I first saw them, but now they do- 'Here's a preview of our new show.' I'll give it a look.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
HST
^Also quite true to actual events. A guy I served with as a Drill Sergeant was there and survived, although twice wounded.
