Been watching "Those Who Kill", a Danish production spanning two seasons. Very good, and I know that there are some of us for whom subtitles are no obstacle. Classic missing persons/piling of bodies type stuff, featuring a troubled Detective and a physcological profiler.

Quite familiar ground, but worth watching.

Quite good

Yeah, it's well done without being great imo.

Bean's mother only being about a decade older than him was a bit distracting. Maybe it was initially seen as a part for a younger actor than Bean.

I didn't really feel there was much progression, but it was watchable enough.

Following on from The Mosquito Coast I went back to Justin Theroux's earlier work, The Leftovers.

Plenty of T&A in that one, god bless you Liv Tyler, but it's the strangest thing I've seen in a long time.

Captivating in parts, but a 6/10, something to watch if you're stuck.

A murder mystery 'whodunnit'. Or perhaps nobody did it and he just fell from the cliffs.

It's all a bit 'Maeve Binchy without the humour', with every member of an extended family's whinges examined in great depth.

Surely features more attractive women in one family than really exist in the whole of Ireland.

It's probably aimed more at women, but the quality of the writing has kept me watching.

"Max Anger - With One Eye Open". An eight part Swedish series centred around a takeover by a Swedish telecomms company of a Russian mobile outfit, and the hidden motives surrounding it. Quite watchable, and decent subtitles. Set in 1990's Stockholm and St Petersburg.

Took it to my cabin the other day as I wasn’t getting enough volume from the laptop.
