    Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

A spin off of Criminal Minds, first episode about some kidnapped Americans in Thailand of all places.

Pretty crap to be honest, but I wonder how long it will take some outraged "netizen" to notice Gary Sinise sticking a pin through the kings head on a banknote!

I used to binge but it was like becoming an alcoholic (affecting relationships and rendering me half useless for work the next day) so now I download my favourites when they are ready and only watch the one show after the kids are in bed.

Mind you - last night I was so tired I fell asleep half way into The Americans S04E01. Was good though!

I'm digging 'Night Manager' a lot more than expected. Decent enough writing & acting & great production values. You need to suspend reality in a Bond-ish way. 7.5 !

Do all these TV shows play on regular TV (just UK and US?) or are they just for downloading? DISCLAIMER: I read this thread for the movie recommendations. <- that's a period.

Been watching "The Fall". Serial killer on the loose in Belfast. Two seasons thus far, third on the way. Five one-hour episodes per season. I'm up to EP3 SEA2.

Despite having a visceral negative reaction to blond white women, the lead detective is very good in the role. The killer is dark and scary - not a California fun in the sun Dexter type, but a really twisted dude.

Don't get me wrong - Dexter was great - but now and again you catch a look in this guy's eyes that is flat out scary. 8/10.

Dexter used to wake me up in the middle of the night so doubt I will be trying that.

I just caught up with a couple of interesting new American shows - Lucifer is very funny unless you are a serious Christian, all about the devil retiring in LA and owning a bar, and second chance is well acted about a guy who comes back from death as a very fit better than new 30 odd year old and helps his FBI son who is about the same age.

Some are network TV series, others are released on things like Amazon Prime or Netflix.

But what difference does it make?

Seen the trailers with something approaching dread. Criminal minds is/was one of the best TV series around.

Doubt that any spin off would live up to it.

I know the film Spotlight has been recommended before, but it was so damn good I'm recommending it again.

Yes but I think most people on here download or watch boxed sets on Kodi or Netflix.

    As in "Video on Demand".

But I was really clueless as to what was going on bc they disguised their billing statement with the title
You have received "Hollywood Movie Pass 30 days" from HOLLYWOOD HDTV.
It took me 3 months to figure that out and during the meantime I watched 0 movies from their library. I've taken to watching youtube (Ju Dou and Farewell My Concubine). What a chore but at least there were English subtitles in sync with the movies. I'm going to see if I can find Raise the Red Lantern next.

Gong Li was voted China's most beautiful woman in 2006!

Do you know that the baddy in The Fall is the guy who was in Fifty Shades of Grey (which i never watched, having read the books, waste of time ). But still enjoyed The Fall, looking forward to the third series

Thirteen is another brit thing. About a girl who was abducted and came home after thirteen years. It's ok. and worth watching.

I love my reality shows - the latest from the US of A that i am watching is 60 Days in, where they put innocent people in prison to, basically, spy on inmates. Starting out ok. But they are still at home at the moment in part one.

Back to Stacey, i watched the first two episodes of her latest endeavour. I quite liked them. Shows a whole side of the world that i didn't know about.

Just finished SEA2. SEA3 should be along soon, as it's been over a year wait already. Do yourself a favor and watch it, it's really very good.
