    My money is on Lucas.

He's going to build a sauna. I have done this before. It goes like so:

    1. Have a competition to see who can collect the most firewood in 4 hours.
    2. Dig a square hole in the ground 1-1.5 feet deep and big enough for a reasonable sized fire.
    3. Fill a drum (Lucas will have to think outside the box) with rocks and place it in the center.
    4. Have a massive bonfire. Get drunk. Pass out.
    5. Build a frame and seat/s around your drum and cover with a tarp.
    6. Get inside and sweat your bollocks off while laughing at winter outside. Apply water to rocks to suit.

And in Lucas' case, he will probably end up sleeping in when it gets a bit cooler.
Final episode is next week and it's down to two, Alan and Sam.
Lucas is gone, very resourceful fella but a bit of a diva.
My money is on Alan still, he's far better equipped mentally and physically than young Sam.

It's been a good series and the production quality has improved throughout, no doubt this will be back.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Alan has to win, I think it would be a let down all round if Sam wins.

An obvious question is, do they have any knowledge of the whereabouts and status of the other competitors? Also, you would think they might inadvertently (or on purpose) run across one other. There was only 7-10 miles separating them, right? Has there been any mention of rules regarding that?
“The Master said, At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of Heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”

Yes, there is either vast amounts of water or unclimbable mountains between them.

"Show Me A Hero". The latest offering from HBO has just started, and looks promising. Set in 1980's Yonkers in NY, revolves around local politics in general, and the Mayor's office in particular.

Almost through the first episode. Staggeringly boring so far. It's going to really have tp pick up the pace in the second episode or I'm done.

HBO miniseries "Show Me A Hero" picked up the pace a bit in EP2; still pretty slow though. But, given that there is little else other than Ray Donovan at the moment, may try one more.

I've just watched the first 2 of Poldark and it's excellent, plus it's visually beautiful. He returns to Cornwall from the Revolutionary War and tries to revive his family's flagging fortunes (nice alliteration huh ?) LINK: Poldark (TV Series 2015? ) - IMDb

The original, but now I'm wondering which one I downloaded!
Just watched the 1930 original again - what a great movie. 85 years ago it was made, and still a classic! (All Quiet On The Western Front)

For the foodies and travel lovers.

Rick Stein from Venice to Istanbul.

Really well filmed, interesting and old Rick seems to have found a sense of humour!!

Found a nice 10Gb dump of Border Security/ Australia and Canada.

I forgot how amusing it is to see inexperienced plebs trying to outwit nasty, cunning bastards.
