Just watched "Fury". WW2 tank crew fighting through Germany in the final months of the war. Brad Pitt was excellent as the tank commander.

It's a classic WW2 movie. If you like those, you'll love this. It was great!

Downloaded from Piratebay. The one with the most seeds by uploader BlackJesus.

Only slight bump is it's a screener copy, and now and then a "Sony Movie" thing comes up on the screen. It's see through, is in the corner of the screen, and lasts only seconds. It didn't detract at all for me. Audio 9; video 9.

First good new movie I've seen in ages!

Re Homeland, episodes 2- 9 have been hilariously bad imo.

So bad that they've been unmissable.

The cheesiness of the monumentally clunky dialogue is a laugh a minute, especially the lines that Denis the ambassador's husband is gifted.

I can't wait for episode 10 of a series that really takes that 'So awful it's great' thing to a new level with each increasingly farcical event and ludicrously stupid line.

In total contrast, 'The Missing' has started off really well.

It's about a couple whose son goes missing when they are on holiday in France. Echoes of the McCann tragedy are inevitable, but this is so convincingly played it really doesn't seem exploitative at all.

It's inevitably bleak but there is also a thriller element to it, and the father is brilliantly played.

    On eztv.

Thanks for this Davis. Couldn't find the Black Jesus upload on PB but it's top of the list on Kick Ass. Been waiting for a good torrent and screeners are usually top notch.

I watched Fury a while back and can't see how it got 8/10.. it's typical contemporary hollywood crap, as in some real standout scenes strung together with sentimental twaddle and unbelievable action.. it's also that kind of 'true-ish' story genre that's popular which I think in a way does a dis-service to the real heroes that played their part. Don't want to add spoliers, but there were a couple of scenes that really disappointed in that they undermined the serious nature of much of the film. Good film that doesn't match the hype 7/10 at best.

There are a couple of screeners for Interstellar out there... I went to the cinema to watch it and it was really very good, but in a very perplexing way... a film based on relativity, highbrow sci-fi... the audience were silent as it ended. Not sure what score to give it, though it's certainly worthy of high marks I can see how it wouldn't be to everyone's enjoyment. I'll give it some time and wait for a decent copy to watch it again.. certainly needs 1080 or 720 quality to be appreciated.

    Edge of Tomorrow. Superb film..
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Oh yeah that's what I came here for..!

    Guardians of the Galaxy

I really didn't think I'd like it, but.. it was brilliant , mostly because it didn't take itself seriously. Definitely worth a watch 8/10

There is only one working Tiger tank in the world in the Tank Museum at Bovington. They used that one in the movie.

Actually a good sci-fi romp with great CGI.

    You won't be disappointed.

Oh and +1 Fury, excellent movie.

I don't get Neo's rant about Fury, then still going on to give it a 7.

7-8 is the border for me.

7, I can take it or leave it, worth it at a push, but I'm not missing a great movie.

8, I would say definitely worth watching, very entertaining.

9, outstanding, not many of those... 12 Years a slave.. Goodfellas...

Yeah really, despite his of screen persona Cruise is a fine actor imho, he has quite a talent for comedy too, but actually I rate the film because it has a really well balanced storyline. It stays away from what many Hollywood action films do by stringing the story together with shmaltz, and instead uses comedy as a foil for the action, which works very well.
