Idiocracy part 2 could have been an obvious next move but thankfully they left it as a stand alone cult favourite.

Hope you saw the scene after the credits, where we see Rita's pimp arrive in 2505

Glad you mentioned Killer Joe, a few people told me how unbelievably great and classic this was, which usually is a warning to proceed with caution.

I was also told World War Z & Kill Bill 1 & 2 were unrivalled absolute classics. Then again the same person raved about Doctor Who

Personal preference really. Although I like things quite straight forward. I can't read most subliminal messages or smug in-jokes in these so-called classics

^I've seen a few lately, made all recently and apart from Hot Tub Time Machine which was mildly entertaining, I've yet to have the wind blown up my skirt with excitement.

Homefront (2013) is pretty hard ass stuff, Jason Statham an ex-cop in a new location after retiring. The fights are very well done, worth it for that. Stallone wrote and produced which may be why.

    Anyone into science fiction?

Europa report (2013) Is a film about the crew of Europa who are on a mission to find life on one of Jupiters moons, Europa. Unmanned voyagers had discovered vast amounts of ice and heat on its surface so this was potentially a historic voyage.

After watching Gravity, which was disappointing, this was very well done in comparison. And not typical Hollywood crap, it may not have even been a Hollywood film, as the cast were international, well known in their own countries, a Romanian, South african, Hong Kong, Swede, Polish, and an American.

You won't be disappointed I reckon. Try it.

    Best films I've seen recently:

The Act of Killing - One of the most compelling documentaries I've ever seen. The banality of evil has never been represented so vividly. Everyone in the world should watch it.

The Spectacular Now - Nuanced, naturalistic, and perhaps surprisingly substantive considering the ages and life situations of the characters. About a high school pisshead that lives a little too much in the now. Very very good in my opinion.

    ^Downloading both now, and MacGruber

The Act of Killing is a 159min directors cut right? That's the one I'm DL-ing

Just watched 'Extract' (2009) by the same director as Idiocracy. Doesn't disappoint. Comedy starring Jason bateman, Ben Affleck & Mila Kunis (who I had to go off and wank over halfway) If you enjoyed the comedy of Idiocracy, you'll also like this very much!

I have a lot of free time at the moment.

I watched the theatrical version. The DC is about 40 minutes longer, slows it down and takes the focus away from what made the shorter version so compelling. Apparently. I think the DC would be better as a later watch after the original version. But your shout.

^^The Directors cut just finished DL-ing and it turned out to be a malware file. Sometimes that happens with torrent sites, you get tricked. I think the 'directors cut' thing would lure people into DL-ing that torrent. Lured me in anyway.

So there is an actual Directors cut?

Trying another now. 11mins to go.

Cleaning out the PC as well now.

The Bag Man (2014) Robert DeNiro, John Cusack.

Cusack has to hold onto a mysterious bag for DeNiro and wait for him while having to contend with many characters who are also interested in this bag.

Average stuff but DeNiro is worth watching. 6/10

Pirate bay has these now, not cams, I never recommend, link to or watch any movies shot with a cam.

    Bad Country: (Great cast)

Will let you know my verdicts shortly.

You do know it's better to download via the magnet links right? Takes an extra few seconds to come up but better.

Dunno what the magnets are exactly myself but it opens up the thing straight to the Utorrent bit. With the other route 'get torrent' or whatever they often lead to viral sites.

used to never use the magnet links before because there was always the two small green arrows that I would click on. i never see them now since I had to delete then reload Utorrent again last year. Maybe I missed something. The options section on Utorrent is all in gibberish (ie. tech terms I don't get) so i just leave it.

^Was all on the strength of the director of Idiocracy. I like that kind of humour. Extract was funny, and apparently this earlier film Office Space is like a 'companion piece' to it. Maybe i should have seen this before I watched Extract.

    Xanax you'll like this mate:

Hong Kong film 'Protege' (2007) Thriller about a cop who's been undercover for over 7 years in a triad gang. Stars Daniel Wu (the Chinese bloke in Europa Report) & Andy Lau. If you enjoyed Infernal Affairs (remade as The Departed by Hollywood) then you'll like this.

    Protege.2007.DVDRip.XviD-ESPiSE (download torrent) - TPB

The film is in two parts in the torrent file CD1 & CD2, dunno why but it's fine. Make sure you also tick the 'srt' files as they are the subtitles. Ideally played on VLC player or similar so you can access the subs easier.

Read about it here on imdb: (Chinese title)

    Moon to (2007) - IMDb
