^^Season 1 was great, the prequel was also good too, but i just cant get into season 3. As for season 4, i'm dl them now, but its collecting dust with season 3 on my hard drive.

Season 4? I've I missed something as I'm on season 3 'war of the dammed' waiting for episode 5?

One minute Django is an ignorant uneducated slave and then he's the fastest gun in the west riding an expensive horse like he was born in the saddle. And then we get Tarantino doing the worst cameo role I've ever seen 3 quarters into the film. The word 'nigger' was boringly overused. It was as if we had to be reminded of the fact every 10 seconds. Well it seemed like every 10 seconds but the total count was 112 times.
Just a few of my dislikes of the movie. In fact, after watching just half the movie I was reluctant to watch the rest. Sorry but it wasn't for me with hindsight.

The total lack of character development in what was a long movie is the reason I gave this a down vote. He started it with the have a beer in the bar scene, and then totally dropped it.
Character development has been previously, one of his strong points. How this movie got an Oscar for script is beyond me. Hollywood, on the whole, is not even trying anymore. The only decent movies have been foreign rips.

Spartacus Blood and Sand. Watched the first episode and switched it off half way through. This was two months ago. Watched it again a month ago as I was bored shitless. I'm now on the 3rd season and worried I'll suffer from withdrawal symptoms! I'm not sure the 3rd will match up to 1 and 2 though.

It's like a kiwi porno, mostly gay.

Put it this way, The Midget enjoyed watching them, so we downloaded all 20 or so movies a few years ago.

Watched Wild Bill: So many films of this genre all with the same predictable 'cheeky cockney' script. I appreciated bits of the direction but the writers should look somewhere beyond the realms of the usual 'shut it you slaaaag' dialogue. Totally fucking boring.

The eldest son was totally miscast - he went from playing a ponce in Narnia to a geezer in Hackney - and he still looked like he should be mincing about with lions and shit.

Watched them all. I enjoyed them. If you like Sean Bean, watch Sharp's Eagle first and see.

Based on novels. Lad from the army makes good and progresses up the ranks with a team of Riflemen, sort of Special Forces of the day. He has a sidekick and always gets the girl.

It's bit like the The Brotherhood of War in the way he progresses through the ranks, series except set in the Napoleonic wars.
