Has any one got any idea if there is a torrent out for 'West of Memphis' yet?

It's the Peter Jackson produced documentary about the Memphis Three. Been out for a while, but I have looked and looked and can't seem to find it.

I can't seem to find it either, perhaps it's just not out yet.

Shame, the Paradise Lost ones were fantastic. I hope someone on here has more luck trying to find it (if it exists).

I would think that if it's as hard to understand and has so much cultural slang and is so UK-centric as you guys have said, the original version wouldn't have been able to find a home in the US except possibly on a small, free satellite channel, and it would have been heavily edited for content, rendering it neutered.

If it's a great story (and it must be if the US-version is such a direct copy), then Americanizing it and putting it on an uncensored premium channel would be the only viable way for it to find an audience.

The amount of swearing and nudity from the likes of Spartacus and Dexter which are both American, i can hardly see why they would edit the swearing of Shameless UK if that too was brought out over the pond on cable tv.

That's the point I was making- it's not that they're American, but rather it's about the channel on which they're shown- HBO/Showtime or other premium (uncensored) channels (that produce and broadcast Dexter, Spartacus, etc) wouldn't run the UK version of Shameless due to the fact it probably wouldn't be popular to the general population in the States- a smaller basic (meaning you get it included with any level of satellite subscription) channel might run it (if they could afford the rights) but that kind of channel is subject to censorship of swearing and nudity.

If you'd have watched the US version of Shameless, you'd know it's full of swearing and nudity- it's broadcast on Showtime, though.

Dexter will eventually run on a basic channel as well (it might already) but it will be edited from the original version.

As its already been shown earlier in the year for festivals and the cinema date is coming later next month, this would be a good time to release a screener.

I'm not saying there will be one, but i'll keep a look out for it on rlslog and let you know. Or have a weekly search for it on vcdq as it lists EVERYTHING thats been uploaded to the internet.

Oh, when you said you was watching more Ancient Aliens i thought, what!!! a series 5. but alas ive already watched series 4 which ended in May this year.

A few good episodes. The episode about cowboys and Aliens was a bit stupid. Still think series 1 and 2 is the best.

Here's an Irish comedy film i'm downloading. I'm downloading it just for the Irish accent as ive never seen a full on Irish movie. Ha!. Anyhow after watching the trailer i can see its ok for a wet lazy Sunday.

The top one is 12 gigs and that has 100 seeds. I'd personally go for that. Also, before series 1, there was a 2 part doco promo called Ancient Aliens. After that came series 1 and beyond. I havent got this promo as its all covered in much more depth in the other series.

there has been 4 seasons total, the first documentary were in 4 parts and was later spin off into a full season 1 before they made the other Seasons

doing a marathon watch of those episodes is not recommended and could be very dangerous for anyone mental state

Thought Newsroom was bladdy fantastic! It got better & better with each episode!!! Highly recommendable!

Some great performances but it was a bit saccharine sweet at times. It says a lot that it was still very enjoyable despite that.

it's fucking cheesy and retarded 60% of the time, the underlying love story between the staff is just simply stupid and distracting and just a trick to fill out scenes on a very thin story line. They should make it a 30min and it could be great, not a full 1 hour with braindead american love drama.

Watched episode 7 of Homeland last night and have to say it's gone right off the boil after a promising start.
Starting to really not give a fuck about the characters as they are all coming across as spoiled whiney bitches.
